Poco X3 NFC VS Poco X3 Pro

  • OS, Processor, & GPU

At the time of the global launch, the Poco X3 Pro was immediately immersed with the Android 11 OS, unlike the Poco X3 NFC, which until now had to be patient waiting for an update from Android 10 to Android 11 OS, there has been no official schedule from Xiaomi though.

Major upgrades are also felt in the processor sector. Snapdragon 732G on Poco X3 NFC, now upgraded to the newest Snapdragon 8 series from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 860.

Until we post this article, there has been no Android smartphone from another brand that has embedded the Snapdragon 860 processor in their latest smartphone series.

Maybe, there are a few of them, but they haven't been announced to the media yet, we'll see in the next few weeks, who knows Poco X3 Pro has a comparable opponent, who can really be pitted head to head!

To find out how great or how the Snapdragon 860 processor compares with other Snapdragon 8 series, we will discuss it later in the next article, stay tuned Vicigers!

Carrying a brand-new processor that is more powerful than before means that it will be directly proportional to the GPU's capabilities. If previously the Snapdragon 732G was supported by the Adreno 618 GPU, now the Snapdragon 860 is supported by the Adreno 640 GPU. FYI, on paper the Adreno 640 has a satisfactory performance to support a class of flagship processors.

  • RAM and Internal Memory

Both of these series have 3 variants of RAM and internal storage, but they are not identical.

Poco X3 NFC Variants:

  1. 6/64GB
  2. 6/128GB
  3. 8/128GB

Poco X3 Pro Variants:

  1. 6/128GB
  2. 8/128GB
  3. 8/256GB

For the Poco X3 NFC variant, which entered Indonesia officially yesterday, only 6/64GB and 8/128GB, but for the global market, Xiaomi has added a 6/128GB variant option. In our opinion, this variant isn't too important, so thanks to Xiaomi for not bringing the 'bear' 6/128GB variant to Indonesia.

Now, for the Poco X3 Pro itself, we actually don't know and haven't gotten any leaks at all, whether all variants will enter Indonesia. If we look at a few clues from uploads on Poco Indonesia's social media, it feels like they will include the highest 8/256GB variant in Indonesia, which even for the Indian market this variant is not officially included.

Because usually Xiaomi Indonesia always includes the Poco series in 2 variants, roughly for 128GB ROM, 6GB/8GB RAM variant which will enter officially? Let's try to guess, write your comments below, Vicigers!
