Three intense weeks of league stages PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL): PMPL SEA Championship 2022 ended yesterday, 16 October 2022.

After the top 20 teams in the SEA region faced each other in 75 matches, Thai team The Infinity emerged as the top of the standings with 681 points and 343 kills.

The squad has been improving their game every week and showed their best performance in week 3 where they accumulated a total of 268 points.

Another Thai veteran squad, Faze Clan, secured second place. The team initially started on good footing but fell short during the second week. However, the squad picked up the pace and finished strong in the final week, ending their League Stage campaign with 587 points and 285 kills.

TEM Entertainment claimed third place on the League Stage overall leaderboard. Overall, the Thai squad is tied with Faze Clan, and both teams have the same number of points (587). The Squad also managed to secure 289 frags in the process.

The top 16 teams in the overall standings qualify for the Grand Finals of the championship, and the bottom four teams are eliminated from the event.

These four teams failed to appear for three weeks, and only one of them was able to reach 150 points in one week.

The Malaysia and Vietnam squads SEM9 (311 points) and BN United (300 points) had quite the horrendous performances as they finished in 19th and 20th place respectively. These teams will learn from this experience and bounce back in the season PUBG Mobile Esports next.

Infinity also topped the charts for bonus points standings. The team accumulated a total of 76 bonus points. They were followed by TEM Entertainment and Faze Clan with 68 and 67 points respectively.

Teams have been awarded bonus points based on their performance during the League Stage. This squad would carry this point into the Grand Final of the tournament.

The Thai team dominated the League Stage, with six of the top seven teams from the region. Apart from the top three teams, Bacon Time, another popular Thai team, finished in 4th place with 540 points.

The team showed their prowess and crossed 200 points in the first week itself, after which they consolidated their position in the points table.

Aerowolf Limax, a team from Indonesia, is the only fighter from the region among several Thai teams. The squad played very well and secured fifth place with 508 points to their name.

The winner of PMWI 2022, Vampire Esports, got off to a great start to the championship by placing second after week 1. However, the squad failed to keep up the momentum and faltered during weeks two and three. However, the team still managed to maintain a respectable sixth place.

Among the teams that barely made it to the PMPL Grand Final were BOOM Esports from Indonesia and Eagle Esport from Vietnam.

Boom Esport had a terrible start to their campaign as they were unable to cross the 100 point mark in the first week. The team, however, bounced back during weeks two and three and ended up in 15th place with 389 points.

Meanwhile, Eagle Esport had a great start in the first week. However, the team succumbed to tournament pressure later on. Nonetheless, their performance in the first week made up for their lackluster play in their later matches as they qualified for the Grand Finals in 15th place.

The last day of PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL): MEA Championship 2022 Fall ends today, with the top three teams qualifying for PMGC 2022. After 24 matches of breathtaking action that kept the audience on the edge of their seats, Powr Esport, the team from Saudi Arabia, emerge as a champion, take the title by dominating.

Squad left all other teams in the dust, securing a whooping 330 points with 178 kills. Powr Esport also made a hat-trick chicken dinner on the penultimate day to secure their spot. The team took home the winning prize of $40,000.

Finishing behind them in second place is another Saudi team R8 Esports. They also showed their strength in the championship, ending their campaign with 248 points and 133 frags, bagging $28,000 cash prize.

Iraqi team Geekay Sports took third place in the championship. The squad showed their mettle and ended up with 210 points and 107 kills. They were awarded the third place cash prize of $ 10,000.
