EVOS Legends vs AuraFire

EVOS Legends will face Aura Fire, one of the fastest growing teams in the MPL ID Season 9 Week 1 league.

Aura Fire hasn't found the success it has in previous seasons, but their unorthodox playstyle makes for some of the best matches in the region. EVOS Legends, on the other hand, are slowly finding their way back after failing to make it to the grand finals during MPL ID Season 8.

Both teams will be looking to prove themselves this season, and this series could be a key indicator of their form for the rest of the season.

Eyes will also be on the lookout for fresh-faced signings from MDL to see how they are doing in the big leagues. 

Alter Ego vs RRQ Hoshi

RRQ Hoshi is hunting for their fourth MPL ID title in MPL ID Season 9 Week 1, with the return of Muhammad “Lemon” Ikhsan. They have also promoted two of their MDL players, Riko “Violence” and Edi “Yummy” Susanto, to the main roster.

On Alter Ego's side, the team had their fair share of success in 2020 when they went unbeaten at the ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2020. However, they were unable to repeat that success the following season.

They seem determined to make big changes to improve the situation this time in MPL ID Season 9 Week 1. To prepare for the season Julian “LeoMurphy” Murphy and Ahmad “Ahmad” Abdurrahman were transferred to Alter Ego X in exchange for three players.

With both teams aiming for the top spot again, it will be an interesting battle. In the end, it may come down to who is hungrier for the championship crown this season.

Rebellion Zion vs Bigetron Alpha

After many organizational and roster changes, Rebellion Zion has set an almost completely different look for its MPL ID Season 9 Week 1 lineup.

Despite the many new signings at this level of competition, Rebellion Zion's manager, Claudia “Claupaw” Rina said that her team is now more ready than ever to reach the MPL ID Season 9 Week 1 playoffs.

On the other hand, Bigetron Alpha have opted to stick with largely the same lineup, even though they are playing without star jungler Jabran “Branz” Bagus, who left the team last December.

Bigetron Alpha vs EVOS Legends

Even though neither Robot nor Macan were able to get very far in MPL ID Season 8, struggling to find each other's form, both teams were at the top of their game in Season 7.

While BTR seems to be the dominant force again. then, they were thwarted in the grand final, with Luminaire coming off strong for EVOS. Season 8 EVOS succumbed to eventual champions, meaning their power is still undeniable, but BTR definitely has points to prove.
