Bandung Institute of Technology School of Business and Management (SBM ITB) roll out MetaBinar first in Indonesia. The MetaBinar was held at RansVerse, the first metaverse in Indonesia which was built in collaboration with RANS Entertainment, VCGamers, Meta Nuswantara – Shinta VR and UpBanx.
The MetaBinar activity, which is a series of the RansVerse Pre-Alpha Test, was held at SBM ITB, Bandung City today, Friday 30 September 2022.
Participants consisting of SBM ITB students and $VCG Token Holders will log in to the RansVerse application that has been downloaded on their respective devices. Then, participants can take part in the MetaBinar using the avatar they choose.
Director of Thegreaterhub SBM ITB, Dina Dellyana, said the participants were the people selected to enter the "SBMVerse". project metaverse SBM ITB which is in the RansVerse ecosystem.
"This events our first, us excited once and this is events trials for one of the developments project metaverse, “SBMVerse”, which was just pioneered this year in the RansVerse ecosystem. We hope that this event can improve experience and engagement from every events which will be held later," he said in Bandung.
Co-Founder & Chairman of VCGamers, Wafa Taftazani, said that the Pre-Alpha Test was also carried out to introduce the use of RansVerse in education to the public.
"After opening RansVerse access to the public for the first time at the BUMN Startup Day event, we are now proud to introduce a form of use cases RansVerse in the field of education, in collaboration with SBM ITB and Alpha JWC,” he said.
Wafa stated that the Pre-Alpha RansVerse this time opened the widest possible space for the public to be able to provide input and suggestions. Thus, the development of RansVerse in the world of education can continue to be perfected.
“This is a form of our commitment in RansVerse Pre-Alpha testing to get feedback from the public and the world of education. So that RansVerse can become the pride of Indonesia's metaverse which has been integrated with blockchain and can be used for productive things," he explained.
in line, RansVerse Product Manager from Meta Nuswantara – Shinta VR, Miftahul Bagus, added that currently Ransverse can be tried on three platforms namely Windows, Android and Oculus VR.
In addition, there are already a number of features available that can be used in RansVerse. Among other things, communicating between users via voice chat, collaborate gestures, share emojis and explore using drones.
"And of course MetaBinar, where we can hold teaching and learning activities in the world of the metaverse," he said.
Bagus said, Shinta VR and VCGamers had previously conducted an internal RansVerse Pre-Alpha Test involving dozens of users at the same time.
"The results of yesterday's Pre-Alpha release met expectations, there were no problems with the multiplayer feature. In terms of minimums device requirements, we are also optimistic that RansVerse can reach more user, because after we test in several mid-level devices, the performance is maintained, "he said.
Currently, continued Bagus, his party continues to make several improvements on the operating system side.
For information, the event held by SBM ITB will be attended by Alpha JWC Ventures, a Jakarta-based venture capital company. Representatives from Alpha JWC Ventures will attend as speakers at the event.
The implementation of the Pre-Alpha RansVerse is carried out according to the schedule that has been prepared in the VCGamers Roadmap.
