Sumeru Genshin Impact will be the next Archon Quest region to be released in the near future.
The area protected by the Archon with the Dendro element will be the area visited by players to continue their journey to find our brothers while surrounding Teyvat.

Speculations of this element being released are expected to coincide with the release of The Chasm, the Liyue mining area which will be released in updates upcoming 2.6.

The City Protected by the Dendro Archon
Sumeru was introduced to Genshin Impact for the first time in the YouTube video Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail in September 2020.
The video with a duration of 4 minutes tells a total of 7 countries in Teyvat and another country called Khaenri'ah which will be the destination for Genshin Impact players.
The protector of Sumeru is Dendro Archon. This was confirmed by a conversation with Ganyu on Archon Quest Liyue.
Ganyu said that Sumeru was protected by the "God of Wisdom" or the God of Wisdom with the dendro element.
Dendro Archon is the youngest Archon who only became an Archon for 500 years ago, in contrast to Geo Archon, namely Rex Lapis as the oldest Archon for 6000 years.
500 years ago a natural disaster occurred which left the previous Dendro Archon dead. Therefore, Dendro Archon is now replacing him.
