Esports Star Indonesia Season 2 Collaborates with Moonton to Find the Next New Indonesian Esports Star

Maybe many of you don't know, because this competition will also only be holding season 2 in 2021.

In 2020, there were 2 pro players who graduated from Esports Star Indonesia who managed to join big esports teams in Indonesia, namely RRQ and BTR.

2 Pro Players Out of Esports Star Indonesia Season 1

1. JBun – RRQ Sena

JBun aka Jodie Bun is the winner of the MVP title in the ESI Season 1 competition, he is a pro player from West Kalimantan, Vicigers.

Because of this title win, Jbun was finally signed by the RRQ team at the end of 2020, and Jbun was trusted to defend the RRQ Sena team at the MDL ID Season 3 event.

FYI, for you Vicigers, RRQ Sena and RRQ Hoshi are different. If RRQ Hoshi is the main division, then RRQ Sena is the second class or semi pro division.

However, coming out as the MVP at the Esports Star Indonesia Season 1 event and being immediately picked up by RRQ, that was already a good achievement for Jbun.

2. Cardo – BTR Bravo

Cardo also suffered the same fate as Jbun, he was immediately withdrawn by BTR Bravo after ESI Season 1 ended.

Interestingly, even though Cardo did not make it to the grand finals of ESI Season 1 last year, many national esports teams have seen his potential.

So it's not surprising that after Esports Star Indonesia Season 1, this pro player from West Kalimantan was immediately brought in by Bigetron.

Even though when he joined BTR Bravo he ran into a problem, because it turned out that Cardo was still under the management of HFX Esports.

However, it's still a happy ending, because HFX Esports finally happily released Cardo for BTR.

Collaborating with Moonton, ESI Season 2 is Confident to Create New Indonesian Esports Stars

Moonton and PT Esports Star Indonesia have collaborated to hold the next pro player talent search event at ESI Season 2.

The two of them worked together after officially signing the agreement on Monday, July 5, 2021.

ESI Season 2 is expected to present a new, more interesting concept, but still the same as the previous season, this program will still be broadcast on GTV or online on the RCTI+ platform.

If in Season 1 there were Coach Jonathan and Coach Nyoong who helped stir up this event, then in Season 2 you will see celebrity gamers who will become managers of the teams that will compete in Esports Star Indonesia.

Edho Zell, Tiara Andini, and Olla Ramlan will later compete as managers in ESI Season 2. Isn't that exciting?

According to the information we received, the pro player esports talent search event Season 2 will premiere from 29 October to 17 December 2021 on GTV.
