Zhongli is a Geo Polearm Character in Genshin Impact. He is one of the most powerful characters in the game, with the ability to deploy a shield that makes the character nearly invulnerable.

This character is a consultant in the Wangsheng Burial Room. He is later revealed to be a Geo Archon.

Constellations And Talent Priority

Similar to other 5 star characters, this constellation is very powerful. However, with such a low draw rate, it is very unlikely that players will get more than C1 or C2. The best constellations are C2 and C4:

• C1: Planet Befall gives a Jade Shield to the character closest to the field on the way down.
• C4: Increases Planet Befall's AoE by 20 percent and increases the duration of Planet Befall's Petrification effect by 2 seconds.

Getting C2 and C4 greatly increases his support abilities. The former allowed Zhongli to have 100 percent active time for his shield, which greatly increased the team's survivability.

Tips for Using Zhongli

With his shield scaling based on max HP, crafting artifacts for him is rather easy. Players only need to accumulate as much HP as possible to increase shields for all other characters.

Note that in Hold mode he can absorb some shields or Geo constructs. Therefore, it is perfect for fighting Rock Shieldwall Mitachurl or Large Geo Slimes to take their shields.

Note that Corrosion will penetrate shields, bleeding HP when fighting enemies like Rifthounds.
