Xiao Genshin Impact Build Recommendations

Material Talent and Character Ascension Xiao

To increase Xiao's character ascension level to level 90, you will need ascension materials in the form of:

• Drop from boss Primo Geovishap: Juvenile Jade
• Vayuda Turquoise (Silver, Fragment, Chunk, and Gemstone)
• Qing Xin Flower
• drop from Slime enemies, namely: Slime Condensate, Slime Secretions, and Slime Concentrate. 

Max Xiao's Ascension talent will require:

• Weekly boss Childe (Enter of the Golden House): Shadow of the Warrior
• The Slime enemy drops are: Slime Condensate, Slime Secretions, and Slime Concentrate
• book talents namely the Prosperity set (Teaching of Prosperity, Guide to Prosperity, and Philosophies of Prosperity).

Best Constellation for Build Xiao Genshin Impact

Xiao is a good character regardless of Constellation. Even though it is classified as a hypercarry DPS, Xiao is already good with C0 so it is friendly for F2P players.

If you are after Constellation Xiao, we recommend Constellation 5 and Constellation 6 to increase Xiao's DMG especially for Elemental Burst.

Skill Priority for Build Xiao Genshin Impact

Xiao's Normal Attack consists of 6 attack arrows that give physical damage. Meanwhile Xiao's Charged and Plunged Attack will give Anemo DMG while Plunged Attack will give AoE Anemo DMG.

Xiao's Elemental Skill, namely Lemnisctic Wind Cycling, Xiao will dash past the enemy and deal damage with Anemo DMG to the enemy in front of him.

This talent can be used 2 times Charged back and forth and can be used while you are flying in the air.

Elemental Burst from Xiao namely Bane of All Evil, Xiao will activate Yaksha Mask mode which changes the attack from Physical to Anemo.

All Normal attacks, be it Normal, Plunge, and Charged, will deal Anemo DMG.

This ability can also give Xiao the ability to jump very high and when Plunging will give AoE Anemo DMG,

This attack cannot be reacted with other elementals and will not deal Swirl DMG but Anemo DMG. In addition, Xiao's HP will continue to decrease as long as the Yaksha Mask is active. 

Prioritize Skill Xiao that you have to maximize is Normal Attack> Elemental Burst = Elemental Skill. 

This is because Xiao's gameplay will rotate by optimizing the DMG from Plunged Attack and the way to increase it is from the jumping ability from Elemental Burst.

Artifact Recommendation for Xiao

Build Xiao should prioritize stats ATK, Crit DMG/Rate, and Anemo DMG Bonus.

However, you can also build Xiao with flat Elemental mastery stats in all major artifact stat sections.

ATK% and Energy Recharged are also very good you look for as sub stats for the artifacts used by Xiao.

Desert Pavilion Chronicle and Viridescent Venerer is a great Anemo DMG boosting artifact for Xiao. However, we do not recommend using 4-PC for these two sets because it makes Xiao's DMG less than optimal.

We prefer to combine the two artifacts with a set that can provide ATK from using a 2-PC like Shimenawa Reminiscence, Gladiator Finale, or Echoes of an Offering.

However, the best artifact set for now remains the Vermillion Hereafter 4-PC as it can increase Xiao's ATK every time HP decreases linearly.

Xiao Genshin Impact Weapon Recommendations

All weapons that can increase a large ATK or Crit DMG / Rate are very good for Xiao to use. So, you only need to use weapons that have these stats.

Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, Staff of Homa, Staff of Scarlet Sand, White Tassel, or Deathmatch is a recommended weapon for those of you who want to meet Crit DMG/Rate Xiao needs.

Whereas Calamity Queller, Vortex Vanquisher, Lithic Spear, Missive Windspear, or Wavebreaker's Fin aimed at increasing Xiao's ATK.

Recommended Team Composition (Party Setup) for Xiao Genshin Impact

Xiao, although strong, has several weaknesses that you can cover by using the right support character.

The first weakness is that Xiao dies easily because he keeps reducing his HP and has low DEF.

For that, you must include a Shield character like Zhongli to protect Xiao from reducing HP due to enemy attacks.

Besides that, the Healer character is essential to be on Xiao's team, so you can use Bennett, Jean, or Barbara as healers.

We also recommend the support character Anemo who can act as Anemo Battery because Xiao is unable to produce Energy Particles even though it has a large energy cost to use Elemental Burst.

Faruzan, Kazuha, or Sucrose can be used as an alternative to Anemo Battery. You can also use Albedo as an Elemental battery for Xiao.
