Differences Xbox One vs PS4
To compare these two consoles, VCGamers has summarized some of the differences that you need to know, as explained below.
Design
The Xbox One S is slightly larger than the PS4 Slim. The original PS4 was about as big and bulky as the Xbox One but the PS4 Slim is a trimmed down version and provides the same functionality.
The PS4 Slim also replaces the original PS4 on store shelves permanently. Xbox One X – 295 x 230 x 64 mm weighs 2.9 Kg, while PS4 Slim – 265 x 39 x 288 mm weighs 2.1 Kg.
Both consoles feature 3x USB 3.0, 1x HDMI 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. The PS4 Slim also has support for USB 3.1.
Storage
Both Xbox One S and PS4 Slim offers 1 TB of storage with a built-in hard drive. You have the option of selecting 500GB of storage for the Xbox One S but the PS4 Slim will always come with 1TB of storage, even if it had 500GB of storage when it was released.
If you run out of 1 TB of storage, you can also use an external hard drive to download games, movies, music and more and access them from that storage.
Games
Just like the previous consoles, there are tons of games that are exclusive to both PS4 and Xbox One. Lots of games Microsoft Studio is usually exclusive to PC and Xbox One.
In general, games are usually released for both consoles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA, NBA and many more.

performance
Xbox One vs PS4 does not support 4K HDR resolution for their respective games. However, they do offer 4K HDR support for their video player.
So, if you watch a 4K movie or YouTube video, you can render it.
4K support was added to the latest Xbox One X and PS4 Pro models. This shouldn't be a problem if you don't have a 4K capable TV.
There are also differences regarding the performance of each console GPU, CPU and RAM. If you're not technically savvy, this basically means that the Xbox One S and PS4 Slim have nearly the same processing power and can output nearly the same resolution. The Xbox One S is slightly more powerful, but not as superior.
There are many differences between Xbox One vs PS4 as you have read in the previous slide. A lot of people are hardcore fanboys about special series that are exclusive to Xbox/PS consoles.
Many are big fans of the Halo Series which is one of the best series in gaming history so they chose the Xbox One console.
Many unique exclusive fans like God of War, Spider-Man, The Last of Us and many more exclusive to PS4.
PS4 has much higher sales numbers than Xbox.
The PlayStation console is almost a decade older than the Xbox console and they have maintained their reputation since the 90's.
There are also much better exclusives to choose from on the PS4 console including tons of Japanese anime series like Dragon Ball, One Piece and more.
But as previously mentioned, most console games are released for both consoles on a regular basis.
Ultimately it's a personal choice as to what you want to do with your own console and what kinds of games you want to play.
