Actually, what is the history of World Wibu Day or World Otaku Day and why is it so popular? Well, it turns out there is a reason behind its popularity.

Reported from liputan6.com, World Wibu Day has something to do with an article published on December 15 about Akio Nakamori, a Japanese writer.

Regarding Akio Nakamori, he wrote several publications of his books, novels and manga magazines around 1983 when he used the term "Otaku" as his first Manga Magazine.

Therefore, since the Akio Nakamori Magazine was published, this date has been celebrated as World Weather Day.
