WORLD Fails to Continue in President's Cup, Loses Against Team MDL

WORLD failed to qualify for the President's Cup main event because they lost against Pabz Esports, the MDL team. Here is an explanation.

The open qualifier for the Presidential Cup for the Esports Mobile Legends division is still ongoing. There are various teams with different backgrounds in this open qualifier, such as the WORLD team. However, in the 2022 President's Cup, WORLD was forced to lose against the MDL Team, Pabz Esports.

Even though they contain pro players who won various international tournaments such as MPL ID S4 and M1 World Championship, they had to stop their open qualifier journey when they met Pabz Esports.

WORLD is an acronym or abbreviation of the names of the pro players who play on the same team. The pro players are Wann, Oura, REKT, Luminaire, and Donkey.

They used to be the EVOS Legends roster who won the MPL Indonesia Season 4 and also won the M1 World Championship, a tournament Mobile Legends international.

After reuniting since they haven't been on the same team for a long time, they joined the competitive event of the 2022 President's Cup in the Mobile Legends branch. Their plan to take part in the 2022 President's Cup with enthusiasm and seriousness is evident by defeating the opposing team on the first and second day of the open qualifiers.

Pabz Esports is not a team to be underestimated. The proof, they managed to beat WORLD in a match bo3 or Best of 3 with a score of 2-0.

The pro players who play for Pabz Esports are Ciskek, Flokky, Reyy, Vanezy, and Poizy. In MDL Indonesia S6, they managed to beat Rebellion Zion, Bigetron Beta, and also Geek Fam Indonesia during the regular season.

In the first game, Pabz excelled by snowballing and playing very neatly. They managed to play disciplined and put pressure that was hard for WORLD to withstand. Therefore, Karrie as the MM of Pabz Esports managed to become the MVP with a score of 13 kills and 0 deaths.

The second game then took place at fairly the same tempo. Pabz Esports exerted pressure that was difficult for WORLD to withstand so that the second game ended in a very short time, namely 11 minutes. MM from Pabz Esports is back to being MVP with the hero Irithel who has a score of 8 kills and 0 death.

Because it failed to win the match with Pabz Esports, WORLD failed to qualify for the 2022 Esports Mobile Legends Presidential Cup Main Event.

As we know, there are two slots for two teams from the Open Qualifier that will qualify for the Main Event. Unfortunately, the winners of the M1 World Championship and MPL ID S4 failed to qualify for the open qualifiers.

The Open Qualifier phase is still not over. According to the official website of the Esports President's Cup, there is still an open qualifying final which will be held from 20 to 21 October 2022.
