Wild Rift Icons Global Championship
The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship is an international or global scale tournament held by Riot as well as a sign to end the season of League of Legends: Wild Rift. This tournament will bring together 24 teams, of which 8 teams that qualify come from regional competitions and 16 other teams have to fight through the play-in stage.
Fans of the game Wild Rift Esports will witness firsthand their favorite teams competing at the high level of the tournament and bring out their expertise and cooperation between their teams to win the title and prize pool of $2 million or the equivalent of 29 billion rupiah.
When the tournament was first announced, the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship was originally taking place in Europe. However, due to the complicating effects of the global pandemic timeline visa application and rearranging the schedule again, Riot Games finally made the decision to move the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship competition to Singapore.
Of course this decision is not only to ensure that the teams that will compete have the best chance to attend this International tournament, but they also have great experience in their first international tournament championship which is participated in by many Esports teams around the world.
