Baldur's Gate 3 Class, What's Up?

barbarian

This class is an expert in melee combat, relying on physical strength, endurance, and fury to defeat enemies. Barbarians can choose the Berserker, Wildheart, or Wild Magic subclasses, which grant bonuses and special effects when they rage.

Bard

This class is a versatile artist, who uses music, magic, and charisma to aid allies and harass opponents.

Bards can choose the Lore, Valor, or Swords subclasses, which grant additional skills, spells, and abilities.

Cleric

This class are priests who serve specific gods, which grants them magic and healing powers. Clerics can choose Life, Light, Trickery, Knowledge, Nature, Tempest, or War subclasses. Each provides benefits and obligations according to their "beliefs".

Druids

This class is a follower of nature, who can use magic to control the elements, heal the earth, or shapeshift into animals. Druids can choose a subclass (Circle): Land, Moon, or Spores. This will give access to different types of magic and animal forms.

Fighters

This class is an expert in weapons and armor, able to adapt to a variety of combat situations. Fighters can choose Champion, Battle Master, or Eldritch Knight subclasses. Different subclasses also have different additional skills, maneuvers, or magic.

Monk

This class is a fighter who relies on speed, agility, and psychic energy (or Ki) to defeat opponents. Monks can choose (Way) Open Hand, Shadow, or Four Elements subclasses, which grant additional techniques, infiltration abilities, or elemental magic.

Paladins

This class are warriors dedicated to certain oaths, which grant them magic, healing, and aura powers. Paladins can choose the subclass (Oath) Devotion, Ancients, or Vengeance. By choosing different Oaths, Vicigers can also gain different spells, and special abilities.

Rangers

This class is a hunter who specializes in survival, tracking, and exploration. Rangers can choose Hunter, Beast Master, or Swarmkeeper subclasses, which provide additional skills, pets, or magic effects.

Rogues

This class is a specialist skilled in craftsmanship, disguise, and exotic skills.

Rogues can choose a subclass (Beast Master, Gloom Stalker, or Hunter), which grants additional skills, magic, or killing abilities.

Sorcerer

This class is a magic user who has an innate source of power, which gives them flexibility and uniqueness.

Sorcerers can choose three subclasses: Draconic Bloodline, Wild Magic, or Storm Sorcery. Make sure Vicigers choose the right subclass because each one will have a specific build skill.

Warlocks

This class is a magic user who makes pacts with powerful beings, granting them power and worth.

Warlocks can choose the subclass (Patron) The Fiend, The Great Old One, or The Archfey. All of them provide additional special bonuses, spells and special abilities.

wizards

And finally there are Wizards: magic users who learn from books – giving them a wide variety of dark magic knowledge! The wizard can choose 8 subclasses (Tradition): Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, or Transmutation.
