Wafa Taftazani emphasizes that Web3 and crypto assets are not the way to get rich instantly

Web3, Non-Fungible Token (NFT), crypto assets to Metaverse are not things that can make someone rich instantly.

This was conveyed by the Co-Founder & Chairman of VCGamers, Wafa Taftazani in Economic Outlook 2022 program at CNBC Indonesia.

"What needs to be remembered and understood is that WEB 3, NFT, Crypto Asset, Metaverse and others are not ways to get rich instantly," said Wafa Taftazani in the program.

He explained, the presence of WEB 3.0 to crypto assets allows us to actively participate in the digital economy at the global level.

“But this is a way to make us active participants in an already highly digitalized and globalized economy by using new technologies (blockchain, crypto assets),” he said quoted from the CNBC Indonesia YouTube channel.

Wafa gave an example of Web3 being built, namely Raffi Ahmad's Metaverse called RansVerse.

The Metaverse megaproject is currently in the preparation process.

Later every type of work that exists in the real world will be brought into the RansVerse.

"Web3 project at VCGamers is working with Raffi Ahmad and RANS Entertainment to develop the RANSVERSE metaverse where later all types of work in the physical-verse we will bring there (architects, traders or MSMEs)," said Wafa.

He hopes that the public can see the presence of Web3 as a useful investment opportunity in the future.

However, the public also needs to be careful by paying attention to a number of things.

Like, pay attention to the timeframe, fundamentals and economic value.

“Therefore WEB3 will unleashed if its use is associated with real economics and can provide real benefits. It is hoped that people will always see Web3 including investment opportunity with glasses on, always long term, always look at the fundamentals and always real economic valueher," he said.
