The Presence of Web3 Drives the Development of Indonesia's Digital Economy

The presence of WEB 3.0 is considered to provide good opportunities for the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. This was conveyed by the Co-Founder & Chairman of VCGamers, Wafa Taftazani.

He said the presence of WEB 3.0 would have an extraordinary impact on the digital economy in Indonesia in 2022.

This, he said, was because there were still parties who did not have bank accounts or credit cards.

“It has an extraordinary impact (the presence of WEB 3.0). Because it must be remembered, in Indonesia there are still many who have not been touched by bank accounts, not many have been touched by credit cards, so not many have credit scoring,” said Wafa deeply 2022 Economic Outlook Program on CNBC.

Wafa said, this certainly made it difficult for these parties to access loan and investment funding. So, it can not develop a business that is being initiated can develop.

"In the end, if you can't get loan or investment funding, you can't grow economically and this is happening massively in Indonesia," said Wafa.

He continued, the presence of WEB 3.0 will also facilitate the process of obtaining investment or funding to develop business activities.

“With WEB 3.0 it will cut all of these processes. The fact is that now in Indonesia many people have crypto wallets compared to stock accounts," he said.
