Valorant's 18th New Agent "SPRINTER" Leaks

Valorant's 18th New Agent "SPRINTER" Leaks

Hello Vicigers, data miner Valorant has found another leak about the newest agent Valorant which has the codename Sprinter.

An agent codename is assigned to each Valorant agent in the game. Much like the recently released agent, KAY/O has the code name “Grenadier.” To date, Valorant has 17 agents, while the 18th Agent is still a mystery. The recent leak of a possible codename for the next agent has generated a lot of interest from Valorant fans.

Valorant fans have speculated that the new agent may be the 18th agent in Valorant. However, some players are still waiting for the possible identity of the 18th agent. The new leaked agent's codename is "Sprinter", but the agent's capabilities are still unknown.

Valorant's newest agent, it seems, is 'Sprinter', Valorant's newest agent. While little is known about Sprinter at this point, dataminers are already hard at work combing through the game's code for even the tiniest bits of information about who Sprinter is and what he will ultimately bring to the game.

And of course, we've rounded it all up so far here for your convenience. So without further ado, here's everything we know so far about the Sprinter, including its release date and abilities.

Speculation about Valorant's new agent

Famous data miners Mike-Valorleaks and Floxay tweeted recently and leaked the code name for the next Valorant agent. Apart from the name "Sprinter", another leaked codename is "Deadeeye". These may be code names for two different agents.

The Valorant devs are definitely baiting leakers for the first speculations they can make about this leak. The codename has been revealed too early, as Valorant's Episode 3 was released just 3 weeks ago. So having information or leaks about the next Valorant Act is still very far from now.

Besides information about the next Valorant agent, there is another leak for the new skin bundle. According to leaker Floxay, Operators may get a Magepunk 2.0 skin, which could be an extension of the previously released Magepunk bundle.

These are all speculations and rumours, and nothing has been confirmed yet. Only time will tell whether these predictions and data miners are correct.

Whoever these Agents are, don't expect to see a lot of them anytime soon as there are still other releases to go through before they get released to the servers.

Episode 3 act 2, and the associated Agent believed to be 'Sprinter', is expected to come around the end of August.

That means Agent 18 won't be around until we get closer to Episode 3 Act 3 which is rumored to launch around October 19th.

We still have to wait patiently for the newest agent of Valorant especially what will be released in the future. As stated in the Codename, maybe the newest Valorant agent will be an agent with the Duelist role. If you look at the existing agents in Valorant, the Duelists usually have the ability to make quick moves.

Therefore, it is very likely that there will be another agent with the Duelist role here. So be patient for Duelist role users and keep updating the latest news about this 'Sprinter' agent.

It's also possible that the Codename 'Sprinter' gives a pretty clear indication of what this agent is capable of. Considering that Valorant just added a new initiator and there are already five duelists to choose from in Valorant, Sprinter may be a Controller who can help his teammates reach more territory with his abilities. That said, speed-focused characters in other agent shooters like Scout in Team Fortress 2, Octane in Apex Legends, and Tracer in Overwatch would all suit a more Duelist-like role if they were transplanted into Valorant.

While it's possible that Sprinter is just an alternate name in a file and his actual in-game name is Deadeye, the implications of the name make this seem unlikely. It's also possible that the developer is getting ready to break with tradition and drop two agents in the next act.
