Don't Do This While Using Heizou Genshin's Shikanoin

Many players get Shikanoin Heizou Genshin from Kazuha and Klee's banner. However, there are some of the most common mistakes that you should avoid when using this character.

Many players get Heizou Genshin's Shikanoin from the Kazuha and Klee banners. But many of them still make these mistakes when using this new character.

Error When Using Heizou Genshin's Shikanoin

Prior to version 2.8, Yanfei was the only dedicated 4-star main DPS, but with the release of Shikanoin Heizou, Counsel for Law is no longer alone on the list. When importing Heizou Genshin Impact Travelers need to be aware of these common mistakes and do their best to avoid them.

Ignoring His Best Equipment

Shikanoin Heizou Genshin

You must use the best set of weapons and artifacts for Heizou. These 4 star characters are weaker than the 5 star characters in Genshin Impact. Therefore, you should buff him sufficiently by using the right weapons and artifacts for him, including:

  • Best artifact set: 4 Viridescent Venerer pieces;
  • Best weapon: Skyward Atlas.

These artifacts and weapons will give Heizou a significant buff to make Heizou strong enough to play the main DPS role.

Unlike Xiao, which can be played in Geo + Anemo parties, players are better off using Heizou with the Swirl team. Because unlike Xiao, who can cast raw DPS without relying on elemental reactions, Heizou's playstyle in Genshin Impact will primarily revolve around vortex reactions.

Therefore, it is very important for players to have sufficient Elemental applications available. Ideally, enabler units should be able to implement Element without having to be in the field. Those who can easily cheat internal cooldown, such as Xingqiu, Yelan, and Xiangling are also very good choices.

Use Heizou As Sub-DPS

Heizou's best role is Swirl's Ultimate DPS fighter. With the best weapon, artifact set, C6 and highest level unlocked, this 4 star character can play as a CRIT and main Swirl DPS on a team, especially team Anemo with Sucrose, Kazuha and Venti.

It's useless to use Heizou as a sub-DPS or supporter because he can't buff other characters in his team.

Shikanoin Heizou a Genshin Impact works best as a main DPS, but can still function as a sub DPS. However, it is better for players to avoid Heizou for this role and choose a special support like Sucrose.

This is because sub-DPS Heizou has nothing more to offer the team except minor damage. Meanwhile, special supports like Sucrose, Kazuha, and Venti can bring additional benefits to the party.

For example, unlike Sucrose which can provide a huge Elemental Mastery (EM) bonus, Heizou can only provide 80 EM. Detectives also can't provide elemental DMG bonuses like Kazuha or simple energy recovery like Venti.

Underestimating her Swirl Skill

Heizou's best skill is Swirl which deals high damage to enemies and has other physical effects. If you don't know how to use this skill, you can't optimize the power of this 4-star Anemo DPS. Here are two tips for using Heizou's Swirl properly.

Use the Swirl ability in fighting against crowds as the element bounces between enemies in a group. It will be more useful if you use this skill against more than one enemy.

Don't use her Swirl ability on enemies affected by Hydro as it's less effective in this case.

Lack of Elemental Applicator

elements

You need to use sufficient Elemental applications to increase the ability of the Swirl. This means you have to use sub-DPS or supports off the field for Shikanoin Heizou Genshin.

Like Yelan, Xingqiu, and Xiangling. Their elemental skills and explosions still apply their elements to enemies when they are not on the field.

Just Focus On Energy Refill

Many players are still focused solely on building Heizou Genshin's Shikanoin Energy Refills. His elemental skills and explosions don't require a lot of energy points to fully recharge.

Therefore, there is no need to build up his energy recharge. Instead, you have to build up his Elemental Mastery, CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG, Anemo DMG, and ATK.

Heizou can get the Declension Stack from his Ascension Passive to increase the Detective's damage. You can collect up to four Stacks of Declension at once while you are holding the Skill.

After getting enough stacks, Heizou can provide additional Conviction damage in the next skill. This is more useful when Heizou is at a high level.

Heizou's Elemental Skill in Genshin Impact can hit like a truck, but only if the player uses it properly. From his first passive Ascension, Heizou will reach one Declension Stack when triggering Swirl.

Each declination stack increases the detective's damage, and up to four can be collected at a time. These stacks can also be collected by holding the skill, causing Heizou to slowly charge up his hits. However, restraining Heizou's abilities can be time-consuming, so it's best to avoid this method of obtaining Declination.

Once Heizou has acquired four stacks of Drop, his next skill hit will deal an additional one Confidence Damage stacked with a prime multiplier and a declination bonus.

At talent level 8, Heizou has a multiplier of around 900 percent on his elemental abilities; a losing rate, especially for a 4-star hotel. However, if the player uses a no-stack declination skill at level 8, that 900 percent loss drops to only 364 percent.
