In the latest CSGO update, there is a new map available in the Active Duty map selection. As we know, CSGO has a large selection of maps with different modes.

As a distribution of map choices, Valve has selected several folders and placed them in the Active Duty folder.

Active Duty is a choice of several maps that represent balance and competitive aspects. So therefore, Valves assesses that the map that falls into the Active Duty category is the most balanced and competitive map.

All maps in Active Duty are used as maps in various official tournaments and Premier Competitive modes.

The map that has just been included in the Active Duty selection is Anubis. The map is made up of communities and has a Bomb Defusal game mode.

Actually, Anubis is already in the CS:GO game, but recently the Anubis map is included in the Active Duty category.

Apart from the change regarding the placement of the Anubis map, it turns out that the very famous Dust II map is finally no longer an Active Duty map.

After being the choice of various pro players and CS:GO fans as a whole, Dust II will not be available in the competitive esports scene for the time being.

Surely CS:GO players know about folder legendary set in the desert. Dust II is a very iconic map especially for the Counter-Strike franchise.

Unfortunately, after the latest CSGO update, official tournaments no longer have the option to play Dust II because the map is no longer in the Active Duty category.

CSGO Game Updates

Update CSGO M4A1-S

Not only maps, CSGO is currently offering updates that change the gameplay, especially for the available weapons. The weapons that have changed are the AWP and M4A1-S.

Starting from the AWP weapon, previously you could shoot 10 bullets before running out of magazines. However, after the update, AWP now only has 5 bullets in one magazine.

This means that players must be more careful in using weapons AWP. The reason is, you have to reload after shooting 5 bullets in the latest update.

Apart from the AWP, the M4A1-S weapon is also getting changes. This change is a nerf which means it reduces the usability aspect of the weapon.

The nerf implemented for this special CT rifle is a reduction in the range modifier from 0.99 to 0.94.

This means that there is a reduction in damage when you fire the M4A1-S from a distance.

In conclusion, the farther you shoot the enemy, the less damage you will give to the enemy.

This update to the M4A1-S raises the question whether the M4A4 is better than the M4A1-S for the main rifle for CT.

After this update, we can conclude that if you are fighting enemies from a far range then M4A4 is much better than M4A1-S.

Thus the discussion regarding the latest CSGO update, hopefully this is useful.
