Zora Ideale is one of the main characters from the anime and manga series Black Clover. 

Zora is a member of the Black Bulls, namely one of the nine Magic Knight Captains of the Clover Kingdom.

Zora has the nature of a mysterious and quiet person. He also doesn't like talking about his past and is often seen as cynical and skeptical. 

However, since meeting Asta, he has become very loyal to his friends and is always ready to fight for them.

Zora is a user of shadow magic. He can use shadows to attack, defend, and move. 

This magical ability is very powerful and he often uses it to defeat enemies.

Apart from shadow magic, Zora still has another ability, namely seeing into other people's hearts. This ability allows him to discern the intentions and motivations of others.

Zora's father, Zara Ideale, was a former member of the Purple Orca squad who died on a mission. 

When Zora visited the grave, he heard a conversation from one of the Purple Orca squad members who admitted to having killed Zara. 

He did this because he was a person who conspired with the nobles.

Several years later, Zora looked for the person who killed her father to take revenge. 

And the person Zora killed was named Xerx Lugner from the Purple Orca squad.

Had a long absence from Black Bull

Zora is a senior member of Black Bull, but he has never appeared at Black Bull headquarters, even just to stop by.

The reason why he never appeared at headquarters for quite a long time was because he was tracking the whereabouts of the magic knight who killed his father and completed his revenge.

It was only after his revenge mission was completed that he returned to Black Bull after passing the Royal Knight entrance exam with Asta and Mimosa.

Zora is almost always seen showing disrespect towards everyone he meets.

Be it from the nobility, the Magic Emperor, to his teammates in the Royal Knights selection match. 

This bad trait can be seen when Zora just stays silent and lets Asta and Mimosa fight alone.  Apart from that, he also sacrificed Asta to be able to defeat his opponent. 

Zora has also been shown to be quite cruel towards nobles, this was when he wanted to give a further attack to Kirsch Vermilion who was already unconscious.

At the start, Zora is a cruel figure who never respects other people.

However, his bad character has slowly faded since he met Asta. The thing that makes Zora like Asta is Asta's words that he is similar to his father.

Since then, Zora has wanted to work together with Asta and the two of them have succeeded in creating a really great teamwork.

You can see this when they work together as a team in Royal Knights, Zora is also able to show excellent combination attacks with Asta.
