Two Mobile Legends World Champion Teams

Mobile Legends World Champion Team

That said, now there are two world champion teams in Mobile Legends. Moreover, the most prestigious world-level competitions held by Moonton are called M1 and M2. Obviously, the success of the teams that won this event has its own prestige and pride in their respective countries.

Apart from that, we will also review a little about this competition so that you don't miss its developments. Moreover, the first event (M1) was the first competition held in Malaysia in 2019. Through the qualifying round, there were around 16 teams from 14 countries competing.

As for the M2, it is known that this competition is definitely different from the previous series. Because, only 12 teams competed and that could happen because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, this event also took place in Singapore earlier this year.

About Two Mobile Legends World Champion Teams

  • EVOS Legends

Being the representative of Indonesia with RRQ Hoshi (winning the MPLI 4 National Cup), EVOS Legends (MPL Season 4 champion) successfully won the first world championship, M1. In fact, the team fronted by Oura, Rekt, Donkey, Luminaire and Wann managed to beat their eternal rival in their top match with a narrow score of 4-3.

However, the initial journey of the two teams was fairly smooth when they played in the 'Group Stage'. Because, both RRQ Hoshi and EVOS Legends were able to win the group and both of them also qualified for the 'Upper Bracket' round with two other teams such as Todak (Malaysia) and Burmese Ghouls (Myanmar).

Unfortunately, the steps of the team nicknamed 'White Tiger' were much easier because they managed to beat Burmese Ghouls and RRQ Hoshi to get a place in the top match. Unlike RRQ, this team had to play three times against Todak, EVOS Legends and Todak again to secure a place in the final.

Obviously, the success of EVOS Legends after that has become a breath of fresh air for the development of Mobile Legends in Indonesia. Because, their success has become a new power map for the most popular MOBA mobile game at the world level.

  • Brand Esports

Unlike the previous edition, there was another esports team from Indonesia who was sent to the second world championship, M2 besides RRQ Hoshi (won MPL). Yes, the team is Alter Ego. It was previously known that this team won the MPLI 2020.

Apart from that, the absence of EVOS Legends as the defending champion in this event is also somewhat surprising. However, the absence of the White Tiger at M2 yesterday is also understandable because of its three flagship rosters namely Luminaire (decided to vacuum), Donkey plus Oura (retired). Apart from that, the frequent roster changes also mean that this team still doesn't get the best composition.

Back to M2, the surprises that were present at this event also continued because the two teams from Indonesia failed to penetrate the peak phase. What's more, the steps of the two teams are also quite different because RRQ Hoshi was able to break through the 'Upper Bracket' after the Group Stage. Meanwhile, Alter Ego must be willing to play in the 'Lower Bracket'.

Unfortunately, RRQ Hoshi's move had to slip in the 'Upper Bracket' while fighting for a place in the final round. Even though they won over Omega Esports (representative of the Philippines), Lemon and friends were forced to surrender by the representative of Myanmar, Burmese Ghouls.

Meanwhile, Alter Ego, this team had to be defeated by another representative from the Philippines, Bren Esports before the last game to determine a place for the final in the 'Lower Bracket'. Moreover, they were also able to beat RRQ Hoshi to secure the last position in the final round. Of course, the success of Kartlz cs is quite surprising because they are not a favorite team in this event. Remember, this is the first world championship they have participated in.

It didn't stop there, Bren Esports was able to surprise them against the Burmese Ghouls. Even so, they were only able to beat their opponent with a narrow score of 3-4 in the final match.

M3

With the success of EVOS Legends and Bren Esports as world champions in Mobile Legends. Perhaps, this has made fans of this game really look forward to the world championship for the third edition, M3.

Even so, the event has the potential to be held again early next year. This is because currently the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) is still ongoing in several countries in Asia. Yes, it aims to deliver one of its reps on the M3.

After that, there is also MPLI which is another ticket to be able to send the team that won the event to the next world championship. Then, the teams that will receive invitations from Moonton.

Finally, maybe there will be an Esports team from North America because now the North America Challenger Cup has just started.
