There are many ways to overcome invalid MMI codes for all operators, for more details, let's look at the following discussion:

Restart HP

The first way to solve the invalid MMI code problem is to restart the smartphone. Here's how to restart your phone easily and safely:

  • Hold the Power button and the Home button simultaneously until the phone turns off and starts vibrating, wait for it to restart.
  • Alternatively, you can press and hold the Power button until the Shutdown options menu appears, then select 'Restart'.

Check Network Settings

The steps to access your network settings will vary by phone type, but the concept is the same.

First you have to go to settings. Then, select 'Network Connections', then select 'Mobile Network'.

Use Airplane Mode

Turning on airplane mode for a while and then turning it off can also work to solve this MMI error code issue.

The method is quite easy, you just need to open Settings and change Airplane Mode to 'On'. Wait about 10-30 seconds then change Airplane Mode to 'Off'.

Change Prefix Code

Another way to fix connection problems or invalid MMI code is to add a comma at the end of the prefix code.

When a comma is added, it forces the operation to execute and ignores any errors.

For example, if the Prefix code is (*2904*7#), add a comma at the end, like this (*2904*7#,). You can use the (+) symbol after (*) similar to this (*+2904*7#).

Activating Radio and Activating IMS via SMS

The last way you can do is to activate the radio and IMS via SMS. Here's how to do it:

  • Go to the keypad. Type *#*#4636#*#* but do not press the send button, it will automatically appear in 'Service' mode.
  • Then go to 'Service' mode, select 'Device information' or 'Phone information'. Select 'Run Ping test'. Click the 'Turn Radio Off' button and select 'Restart'.
