Kingdom Hearts 4 Trailer Officially Released, What's New?

Square Enix officially released the trailer for Kingdom Heart 4 in conjunction with the 20th anniversary event of the Kingdom Hearts game series.

Square Enix has officially released the Kingdom Heart 4 trailer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series.

Kingdom Hearts is one of franchises the most popular series from Square Enix which was first released 20 years ago, on March 28, 2022 to be precise. During that time, many titles have been released from this series.

This is of course an answer as well as good news for fans who have been waiting for the continuation of this series made by Square Enix.

So, the release of the Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer is a continuation of the previous ones, namely Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. These series have been released previously in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

As you all know, Square Enix officially announced the presence of Kingdom Hearts 4 through a trailer coinciding with the 20th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts.

Apart from that, a girl named Strelitzia appeared who came to greet Sora. When he came to the city, Strelitzia told him that Sora had been asleep for 7 days.

The figure of the girl explains that this world called Quadratum is a world with normal life. However, for them this world is like the world after death or afterworld.

As previously explained, the trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 depicts a setting in a very modern world called Quadratum. This Quadratum seems to be the main background in games this.

The city has a picture similar to Tokyo with Katakana written on the street signs. In fact, the Quadratum is full of dozens of cars, highways and skyscrapers.

Even though it looks like a normal modern city, Quadratum is a city full of mysteries. The girl who greeted Sora upon waking described it as the "afterlife" for the both of them.

In the middle trailers, a giant Heartless figure suddenly appeared that destroyed everything around it and caused chaos for the residents there.

Seeing that, Sora immediately reacted by fighting against the gigantic figure. Different things appear in this section because Sora turns out to have a new ability with a Keyblade that can change.

Sora's mainstay weapon seems to be able to change into various forms just like Tera or Lingering Will. He also has a fairly agile movement by utilizing the surrounding buildings to avoid Heartless's massive attacks.

Signs of Hades' Appearance in Kingdom Hearts 4

at the end, trailers Kingdom Hearts features scene short which shows Donald and Goofy seemingly looking for something. 

They are looking for someone who might be able to help them find Sora in a dark cave.

However, it is not necessarily true because of trailers it was still unclear what the target and purpose of the two of them were in the dark place.

While exploring the place with the help of Donald's shining stick, a mysterious figure came by surprise. This figure could be Hades, who is synonymous with blue fire, because it is the fire that appears along with Hades' voice.

A light that may be a blue flame appears behind them with a voice asking where Donald and Goofy are going. As the two of them turned around to see the light that frightened them, it was at this point trailers end.

From trailers Meanwhile, the assumption reappears whether it was Hades that Donald and Goofy were actually looking for and why they both did that.

On the other hand, Square Enix might present a signal for Hades' appearance just to tempt fans to be more eagerly waiting games this is release.

Based on trailers, Kingdom Hearts 4 is still in the development phase and plans to use Unreal Engine 5.

In addition, the developer still has not provided further information regarding the release schedule and platforms what is the goal. However, it is possible that Kingdom Hearts will be released in PC or the next generation console.
