T1 has finally found a mid and carry player after the exits of Karl and Gabbi. There were rumors about the joining of Topson and Ana, but finally on August 16 it really happened.

Topson currently plays as a stand-in for the Dota 2 T1 team. Meanwhile, Ana is a regular carry player for T1 in the Dota 2 division.

This surprised many Dota 2 esports fans. How could it not be, these two superstar players used to play together for OG and won two consecutive The Internationals namely TI8 and TI9.

Topson and Ana will play with Kuku as offlaner, Xepher as Soft Support, and Whitemon as Hard Support.

Currently, T1 has yet to qualify for Dota 2's most prestigious tournament this year, The International 11. However, with Topson and Ana, they are ready to take on the SEA Qualifiers to qualify for The International 11 this year.

According to Topson in her YouTube podcast, Ana herself invites Topson to join T1. Previously, Topson was confused about which team was suitable from various regions.

According to him, joining a European team will be more difficult because many European teams already have strong rosters. On top of that, he also doesn't want to join the North American team due to personal reasons.

After that, he and Ana finally decided to join the Dota 2 team from SEA or Southeast Asia. Ana has many connections with T1, one of which is a connection with coach T1.

Finally, after various conversations and deals, Ana managed to persuade Topson to join T1. In the near future, they will strengthen T1 in the SEA Qualifier tournament.

T1 failed to earn enough DPC points to qualify straight for The International this year. With 272 points, they should follow SEA Qualifiers to get tickets to The International this year.

There are 14 teams participating in this SEA Qualifier. However, only one was able to secure a slot to play in The International 2022 tournament.

Apart from that, the second and third place winners may still be able to win The International slot. Because, the two teams will play in the Last Chance Qualifier.

Last Chance Qualifier is the last tournament that determines tickets to play in The International, as the name suggests, "Last Chance" or last chance.

So, don't forget to support T1 with their new roster in the Southeast Asia Qualifier tournament! The tournament will be held from September 3 to September 18, 2022.
