Helldivers 2 Tier S Best Weapon
S tier weapons are excellent weapons that are perfect for almost all types of missions and enemies. Here are the weapons:
Quasar Cannon (Stratagem)
These energy weapons are very powerful and can fire huge laser blasts.
This weapon even has unlimited ammunition and does not require a backpack.
It's great against large, armored enemies, but its power is offset by significant cool down time between shots.
Railgun (Stratagem)
Single-shot weapons capable of crushing can be reloaded in Unsafe Mode for extra power.
This weapon has good armor penetration and makes it great for focusing on head shots/weak spots.
Sickles
The energy-based AR from Helldivers 2 Cutting Edge Warbond is truly deadly, shoots quickly and is able to cut down opponents quickly, both bugs and bots.
This weapon also has unlimited ammunition if you are able to manage its cooling effectively.
Breakers
Even though it is not as strong as when it was first launched, this weapon is still one of the best weapons.
You just need to use your aim more carefully and on target.
Scorcher
An explosive energy weapon that fires small bolts rapidly and deals very high damage per shot.
The only drawback of this weapon is that when you shoot an enemy at close range, it will also kill you. Therefore you have to keep your distance.
Recoilless Rifle (Stratagem)
A rocket launcher that deals huge damage to any enemy and can destroy many buildings.
Excel at coordinating with your team and getting them to quickly give you rockets.
Jar-5 Dominator
This shotgun is capable of firing jet-powered bullets that hit like a truck, but trades stopping power for shot speed.
Stalwart (Stratagem)
A versatile and powerful machine gun that can finish off enemies effectively thanks to its large magazine.
Very good against weaker Terminids.
SMG-72 Pummeller
Fires bullets that have a stunning effect on enemies. This weapon is slower to fire than other SMGs, but has a good sized clip and is very powerful.
G-13 Incendiary Impact Grenade
This grenade explodes on impact coating the enemy and the surrounding area with white phosphorus which then damages enemies that pass through it.
Great for controlling the battlefield.

Helldivers 2 Tier A Best Weapon
A great weapon with a small or niche weakness. The following are the weapons in tier A:
Autocannon (Stratagem)
A powerful autocannon capable of destroying structures with excellent range.
You must buy this weapon if you can't get a Railgun.
Flamethrower (Stratagem)
Very effective against insect hordes at close to medium range, and the Enhanced Combustion Helldivers 2 Ship Module makes it even better.
Expendable Anti-Tank (Stratagem)
A decent way to take out armored enemies quickly, but Recoilless is better.
Benefits from a very short cooldown so it can be summoned more often than other Stratagem support weapons.
Grenade Launcher (Stratagem)
A high-capacity grenade launcher that is great against mid-level enemies and can be used to destroy nests and assemblers.
Just don't shoot it from close range because the grenade will bounce unpredictably.
Eruptor
The Eruptor is a bolt-action rifle that fires exploding shrapnel.
This weapon can wipe out enemies, sometimes many at once, and can even destroy nests and fabricators.
However, this weapon is cumbersome and slow to use, and risks killing the user if fired at an enemy who gets too close.
Anti-Materiel Rifle (Stratagem)
A deadly sniper rifle that can be used to destroy armor and deal long-range damage without much difficulty.
A great low level Railgun replacement and useful against Automatons.
Incendiary Breaker
A more specialized version of Breaker for fighting insects and unarmed enemies thanks to the extra fire damage.
Spray and Pray Breaker
Breaker variant with a larger magazine and faster rate of fire.
Redeemer Pistol (Secondary)
A fast-firing machine gun that chews through ammo, but also up-close enemies.
It can be relied on to cut through unarmed enemies and can be drawn and fired quickly.
Grenade Pistol (Secondary)
This gun fires a single grenade, dealing heavy damage within its blast radius.
Pairs well with Stun Grenades, but has a low ammo reserve and poor reload, so use sparingly.
High Explosive Grenade
This grenade has a small explosion radius compensated by high damage and some armor penetration.
Stun Grenades
The Stun Grenade in Cutting Edge Pass does not deal damage but temporarily paralyzes enemies in a wide radius.
Effective crowd control option, especially against Automaton.

Helldivers 2 Tier B Best Weapon
Weapons in the ink tier are pretty good if used with the right loadout and playing style. Here is a list of weapons:
Laser Cannon (Stratagem)
This laser beam gun has no backpack and unlimited ammo. However, it is able to kill all enemies except Automaton.
Spear (Stratagem)
This anti-armor rocket launcher is very, very deadly against armored enemies such as the Helldivers 2 Tank, Dropship, and Helldivers 2 Bile Titan.
But the lock-on can be very difficult and doesn't allow you to target the enemy's weaknesses.
Airburst Rocket Launcher (Stratagem)
Fires short-range explosive rockets which then release a hail of cluster bombs over a wide area.
Very powerful, especially against aerial enemies like the Helldivers 2 Shriekers, but massively prone to causing friendly-fire incidents. Be careful when firing this weapon.
Defenders
An SMG that can be used with one hand and is very similar to the standard Liberator.
Decent for fighting melee mobs or as a quick response.
Dominators
A slow, high-impact AR with moderate explosive power and armor penetration.
A decent weapon for surprising larger enemies.
Adjudicator
Decent assault rifle with moderate armor penetration limited by its small magazine.
Stalwart (Stratagem)
A versatile and powerful machine gun that can take out smaller enemies effectively thanks to its large magazine.
Very good against weaker Terminids.
Impact Grenades
Fuseless explosives are suitable for precision explosions but cannot be used effectively in bug holes or bot factories.
Senator Pistol
A heavy revolver that holds ammunition well, but doesn't do the damage you'd expect and needs to be reloaded frequently.
Arc Thrower (Stratagem)
Lightning gun that has unlimited ammo and sends a shock that jumps at enemies and the team.
This weapon isn't as good as it used to be, but it can reliably stagger most enemies, making it great for crowd control.
Blitzer Arc
Like the Arc Thrower, the Blitzer fires an arc of electricity but does not require charging. This is great for crowds of weak enemies and can damage those with better armor.
Diligence
Good range rifle for precision damage to robotic enemies.
Diligence Counter Sniper
A larger, more powerful version of the Diligence that doubles its power, but requires a stable firing position.
Liberator
A standard starting assault rifle that can be used in almost any situation.
Knights
SMG with very high rate of fire and one-handed option. Consumes ammo quickly, but is deadly at close range.
Incendiary Grenade
Fire bombs are used to destroy areas. Suitable for use in extraction or defense missions.
Punisher
Slow-firing but powerful-hitting shotguns have the benefit and drawback of reloading per shot, eliminating ammo waste but also slowing down reloads.
Spray and Pray Breaker
Breaker variant with a larger magazine and faster rate of fire.

Helldivers 2 Tier C Best Weapon
Tier C is filled with average weapons that can be used but should be used as a last option. The following weapons in this tier:
Scythes
A very accurate laser beam weapon that can be used against robots and insects, but heats up quite quickly. The Scythe feels better in almost every way.
Machine Gun (Stratagem)
A fast, high-capacity weapon that can pack a punch, but is cumbersome and sometimes difficult to control.
You also cannot move freely when reloading bullets.
Heavy Machine Gun (Stratagem)
A very powerful weapon and also very difficult to aim, with a recoil movement that creates an upward sight, even more so than a regular machine gun.
You'll need to stay hunkered down to use it effectively and be prepared to spend a lot of time recharging.
Slugger
A Punisher variant that fires high-damage slugs, but is difficult to aim and use quickly.
Dagger Gun
A laser gun from Cutting Edge Warbond whose only advantage is its unlimited ammunition.
Peacemaker Pistol
A usable starting gun with balanced stats that can be used in a pinch.
Frag Grenades
Explosives that trade off power for the size of the explosion. Suitable for group cleaning.
Thermite Grenades
Burns whatever it is attached to for a few seconds before exploding.
Other grenades are more useful and their burn radius is so small that if they fail to hit an enemy with this grenade, it is almost useless.
Liberator Penetrator
Starting weapon but with slightly worse stats, offset by moderate armor penetration.
Smoke Grenades
Smoke grenades are used to escape from enemies, but are something that is rarely focused on in Helldivers 2.
AR-61 Tenderiser
This rifle supposedly trades off magazine size for more stopping power, but it doesn't seem to do anything to really make it stand out from other ARs.

Helldivers 2 Tier D Best Weapon
Weapons that have substandard performance and are not suitable for use in loadouts. The following weapons are in this tier:
Exploding Crossbow
A weapon that feels more like a novelty with a bit of flair. Its explosive bolts also cannot destroy assemblers or nests.
Concussive Liberator
A mediocre blaster version of a standard AR that doesn't really deliver on its promises and just works so well.
PLAS-101 Purifier
With a slow charge to fire and a concussion effect as dangerous as a bug, this is one of the worst weapons ever in Helldivers 2.
