Community Valorant caught a glimpse of an agent codenamed “Sprinter”, which may have been accidentally leaked by Amazon Prime Gaming.
Valorant's new agent, Neon, was recently revealed by Riot Games after a number of data mining leaks and teasers.
The new agent will arrive in early 2022, along with the release of Episode 4 Act 1. Neon was originally codenamed “Sprinter”, as revealed by data miners. On December 31, 2021, Amazon Prime accidentally announced Valorant Episode 4 Act 1 key art with Neon in it. However, it was later removed, and Riot Games officially introduced the new Valorant agent to fans.
The Valorant community is excited to receive 2022's first Valorant agent in Episode 4 Act 1, which is expected to be released on January 12th. Neon could potentially be from the Philippines, as there were some hints via Twitter posts and Chamber's new sound channel added in Patch 3.12.
Although the agent role hasn't been officially revealed by the developers, Neon is expected to be a Duelist, as its features and capabilities suggest. He was teased with a cryptic message in the Valorant Champions final, with a female voice channel stating, “The enemy is blocking us? I hope they like getting lightning” and “I'm going fast.”
Furthermore, in the recent State of Agents that was released in December 2021, John Goscicki, Valorant Character Producer mentioned,
May we all enter the year ahead with renewed energy, ready to face new and unexpected challenges. Kicking off next year is an Agent who can outpace the rest of the roster, stun the competition and slide right into the fray.
The community is heavily speculating that the upcoming agent will be a lightning-enabled Radianite with the potential to move even faster than Jett. This may also affect Jett's take rate, as agents are able to move fast and take the fight.

Riot Games has yet to officially reveal the abilities of the new Valorant agents. However, the community will update it soon as the release of Episode 4 Act 1 gets closer.
Over at State of the Agents on December 23, John Goscicki, Riot Character Producer, reported it as:
…An Agent who can surpass other players, stun the competition, and slide straight into battle.
Recently, Prime Gaming mistakenly leaked the key art for Episode 4 Act 1, which showcased Neon in all its glory. Although they quickly removed the image, quite a few members of the community were aware of it. Valorant soon posted a picture on their official Twitter account.
Now it turns out that Valorant has released another teaser featuring the speedster visiting an Agent from Valorant Protocol.
The teaser shows Valorant agent Killjoy sitting in a brightly lit room watching television. He said, “Einer feather mich!” (which, translated from German, means “One for me”) when suddenly a distinct crackling and static sound was heard, followed by a momentary power outage.
There are streaks of lightning visible on the screen with a blue haze. As he turns to look out at the balcony, Killjoy calmly asks if the technology still works for everyone. As the end of the video is slowed down, viewers can easily see Neon's silhouette standing outside on the balcony.
The relationship between Neon and Killjoy will run deep for lore reasons. Players can catch a voicemail at a distance that Killjoy sent to Brimstone, explaining how he does not have the proper resources to complete the Everett-Linde portal. Chamber then tells Killjoy that he has found a solution for Killjoy's latest project.
The completion of the portal will open the way to Mirror Earth, and Neon's involvement in the completion is very important. The reason he visited Killjoy remains unclear. Only time will tell why he did it as more information regarding the Agents will emerge next week.
