Officially, these are the specifications for the Vivo S19 and S19 Pro

Vivo will launch the S19 series, Vivo S19 and S19 Pro lineup. The launch of the S series has been confirmed by Vivo on May 30.

Although the details are not yet known, popular leaker Digital Chat Station leaked the specifications of the Vivo S series which were uploaded on Weibo. 

The advantages that these two cellphones will bring are in terms of cameras.

Leaving aside Apple, Vivo has become one of the best-selling cellphone brands in recent months. With a market share reaching 15.8 percent in the first quarter of 2024, citing Kompas Tekno.

Following are the complete specifications of the two cellphones which will be officially released on May 30.

Call it an improvisation on the S18 battery

Launching GSM Arena and Digital Chat Station also revealed that the battery performance that will be adopted by the Vivo S19 has experienced a significant increase compared to its predecessor, the S18.

The reason is, the battery capacity it carries is still fairly standard for most cellphones, namely 5000mAh. Meanwhile, Vivo continues to use the 80 watt fast charging standard.

Vivo S19 specifications

Quoting from Gizmo China, as for the specifications Vivo The S19 that was successfully revealed includes a 6.78 inch OLED type screen with a screen brightness of 4500 nits and a screen resolution of 1,500 pixels.

Meanwhile, the Vivo S19 is also powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset which offers killer flagship performance.  

Then the rhino battery, 6000mAh which is equipped with 80 watts.

For the camera, the Vivo S19 features a 50 megapixel resolution camera with a 1/1.56 inch GNJ sensor equipped with OIS or optical image stabilization, an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera, and a "flash soft light ring" to maximize your photos.

 Vivo S19 Pro

Meanwhile, in the Pro version, overall it is not that different from the regular series, using a 6.78 inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1500 pixels and a screen brightness of 4500 nits. Different from the regular version which is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

Instead, the Vivo S19 Pro will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset.

For camera specifications, the Vivo S19 Pro adopts a 50 megapixel resolution main camera equipped with Sony IMX 921 sensor technology and OIS or Optical Image Sensor, a 50 megapixel telephoto camera equipped with an IMX 816 sensor, and an 8 megapixel resolution ultra wide camera.

The telephoto camera on the S19 Pro is also equipped with OIS, 50 x digital zoom, and a soft light ring on the back of the cellphone camera.

For the battery, the S19 Pro has a smaller capacity compared to the regular version, 5500mAh. However, this cellphone is equipped with 80 watt fast charging, so you don't need to worry if the battery suddenly runs out.

Finally, to avoid damage caused by water, the Vivo S19 Pro is equipped with IP68 and IP69 certification which is resistant to deep water and high pressure.

Vivo S18 specifications

Before deciding to buy the S19, first review the S18 lineup. The Vivo S18 specifications include a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, 2800 nits screen brightness, and 2800 x 1260 pixel resolution.

Then it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and the OriginOS4 operating system which is based on Android 14.

The camera consists of 50 megapixels on the main part, 8 megapixels ultrawide camera, and PDAF and OIS support. while the front camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels.

The Vivo S18 looks fierce because it supports 80 watt fast charging even though the battery only has a capacity of 5000mAh.

Even without an external memory slot, the Vivo S18 is available with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM storage options and 256GB and 512GB ROM.

The Vivo S18 is priced starting from 300 euros or 5.2 million rupiah.

Currently, the Vivo S19 series, both S19 and S19 Pro, are still in the announcement stage considering that the launch will be held on May 30. First marketed in China.
