Rockstar released games this was on October 17, 2005 for several video game consoles PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, and PSP.

Upon its release, the game received very positive reviews with praise for the design, sound, music, and faithful adaptation of the plot to the original film.

The Warriors is a game adaptation of a film of the same name which was released in 1979. This game is set in New York City in the 1970s.

Follows the story of a street gang accused of murdering a highly respected gang leader.

While being hunted by the police and rival gang members, they must return to their hometown of Coney Island.

The gameplay of The Warriors revolves around large-scale fights in 3D environments interspersed with gangland chases.

The focal point of the fighting style in this game is close combat. There are some additional elements such as spraying paint to mark territory and insult someone.

For gang battles, players will be accompanied by other Warriors members with a maximum number of up to 8 people.

Not only focusing on one character, you can play several other characters in this game such as Cleon (leader of the Warrior gang) and graffiti artist Rembrandt.

The character that can be played is one person per mission with another character as a companion who is controlled by the computer.

Players can view their character's statistics such as the HP bar to find out the character's condition so that players can determine when to use Flash to refill blood.

Most missions center on invading territory from other gangs. Apart from that, there are missions Flash back which shows how some members joined the gang.

To increase player abilities, The Warriors' headquarters will function as a hub. You can do various physical exercises to increase stamina here.

Apart from brawls between gangs, there are several other unique missions. These missions include stealing a number of items or winning a graffiti drawing competition in SoHo.

The key to the Warrior's game is to increase their reputation so they can be invited to meetings between gangs from New York City which is the setting of the film with the last few missions.
