Recently, a sad story circulated on social media about a man named Fat Cat alias Pang Mao who was willing to live a difficult life to marry his girlfriend.

Pang Mao (21), a gamer from China, was found dead under the Yangtze Bridge in Chongqing. His tragic love story invites sympathy from Chinese people and even Indonesia.

It is known that this young man has been dating a woman named Tan Zhu (27) for two years. Throughout their relationship, Pang Mao was willing to work hard to be able to marry the woman he had only met twice. 

This young man with the game nickname Fat Cat communicates more with Tan Zhu virtually because he lives far away.

Even though he lives far away, Pang Mao regularly sends the results of his hard work as a gamer to TanZhu. The money that Pang Mao collected was at least 500,000 yuan or IDR 1.1 billion.

Even a few days before he was found dead, Pang Mao still managed to send Tan Zhu the last amount of 66,000 yuan. 

Sadly, the money Pang Mao collected over the past 2 years was mostly used by Tan Zhu to finance his lifestyle. Even though Pang Mao was ready to live a hard life in order to quickly marry Tan Zhu.

Chronology of Fat Cat's Death

Pang Mao is a young man who was born in Huan Province in March 2003. He is currently 21 years old and works as a gamer. 

The name Fat Cat is the game nickname that Pang Mao uses for his game account.

According to okezone.com, Pang Mao worked very hard and gave all the results of his work to Tan Zhu, the woman he loved.

He was willing to work to raise money to help Tan Zhu open a flower shop and was even willing to give hundreds of millions for it. 

Most of Pang Mao's money was with Tan Zhu, he was willing to live a hard life by eating food he didn't like in order to cut his daily expenses.

It is known that Pang Mao only ate vegetables every day and spent 10 yuan or Rp. 22,234.

Until one day Pang Mao wanted to buy food at McDonald's. Then he asked Tan Zhu for money to buy the food. 

Even though all this time Pang Mao had given Tan Zhu a lot of money. In total, Pang Mao has given Rp. 1.1 billion to his lover. 

However, Pang Mao's great love and sacrifice was not reciprocated. Tan Zhu instead asked to break up and have a relationship with another man.

Allegedly hurt by unrequited love, Pang Mao chose to end his life.

Pang Mao's sister confirmed that her brother's body was unrecognizable when it was found. Then Pang Mao's older brother on (3/5/2024) reported that his younger brother had been cremated 

Before being found dead, Fat Cat alias Pang Mao still had time to send 760 flowers to his lover to commemorate the 760th day of their relationship. Fat Cat also sent 66,666 yuan or Rp. 148 million to Tan Zhu.

Brother Fat Cat Takes Legal Action

Fat Cat's brother believes that Tan Zhu is the party responsible for his sister's suicide. Pang Mao's sister said that her family would take legal action to resolve this case. 

Fat Cat's sister has confirmed that her party has handed over the case to a team of lawyers.

Fat Cat's brother also said that his family would be very grateful to the parties who were willing to be witnesses in court later. 

Although this case is still ongoing, the fact that Fat Cat gave money voluntarily to Tan Zhu has the potential to complicate the legal process.
