Fans anime genre sport definitely familiar with Blue Lock. This anime will be broadcast for the first time in 2022 on TV Asahi.

Blue Lock is an adaptation of manga of the same title written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura.

Just like other anime or manga series in Japan, Blue Lock also held voting for character most popular in Shounen Magazine in 2019 issue 47.

Yoichi Isagi

In first position is filled by the main protagonist in the Blue Lock series, Yoichi Isagi. Isagi is a second year high school student who is a member of the Ichinan High School Football team.

When he first arrived at the Blue Lock facility, Yoichi was selected as a member of Team Z for the first selection. Yoichi's dream is to become the best striker in the world.

Yoichi has a relaxed, friendly and cheerful personality. A simple, innocent personality often makes the people around this character annoyed.

With his spatial abilities, Yoichi can see the entire condition of the football field and the players on it. This often helps his team to win.

Seishiro Nagi

The third place is filled by Meguru Bachira who currently plays as a Center for Spain FC Barcha in the Neo Egoist League.

Bachira played football following his instincts, he was chosen as a member of Team Z during the First Selection.

Bachira has a dream of finding opponents who also have “monsters” within them. However, after successfully recovering from his trauma, his life goal changed to become the best striker in the world.

Hyoma Chigiri

In the next position is Hyoma Chigiri who plays as a left wing for England's Manshine City in the Neo Egoist League.

Chigiri has suffered from leg injuries in the past. However, since joining Blue Lock, he has managed to get rid of his fear and has managed to return to playing football wholeheartedly.

He was accepted as a member of Team Z. During the First Selection, Chigiri tended to limit himself to other people.

However, Isagi managed to motivate himself to be braver on the field and achieve his dream of becoming the world's best striker like his rival.

Shoei Baro

Shoei Baro or nicknamed “King” is a football player from Italy Ubers who plays as a center forward.

Baro has a selfish and arrogant nature, where his main goal in the match is to become a star on the field while trying to achieve his dream of becoming the best striker in the world.

When he first arrived at Blue Lock, he joined Team X and managed to become the top scorer in his category.

When the Blue Lock Eleven project against the Japan U-20 team took place, Baro managed to win the title as one of the best players.

Rin Itoshi

Next, there is a regular player from France's Paris X Gen, namely Rin Itoshi. This character is Sae Itoshi's younger brother who has played football with him since he was young.

He always plays the role of attacker in every team and is always one of the best players. Rin was even recognized by Jinpachi Ego as the best Blue Lock player in the Third Selection.

Rensuke Kunigami

Rensuke Kunigami from the Germany Bastard München team managed to occupy the next position. He is a hot-blooded striker who has the goal of becoming the best striker in the world.

At the Second Selection, Kunigami was eliminated in the final game. Instead of leaving the Blue Lock, he enters a mysterious door marked “Wild Card” that opens for him.

After the U-20 match finished, Kunigami finally returned from the "Wild Card" door and rejoined his rivals in the Neo Egoist League.

Anri Teieri

Before joining Blue Lock, he was a student at an elite school where he met his old friend, Seishiro Nagi.

Reo finally started to have the desire to play football after seeing his best friend. Having almost everything in his hands, Reo has the dream of becoming a world cup winner.

When he first joined Blue Lock, he was included in Team V and became the second best player in his category. Reo played as a central defender in the match against Japan U-20.

Jinpachi Ego

Jinpachi Ego occupies the tenth position as the most popular character from the Blue Lock series on voting 2019 ago.

He is the general director and manager of the Blue Lock project who was handpicked by Anri Teieri, executive member of the Japan Football Union.
