What is Blue Lock?

Blue Lock is a manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The manga was first released in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2018. After the success of the manga, it was then adapted into an anime by Studio Eight Bit.

After Season 1 ended in March 2023, then this year, in October 2024, season 2 of this anime aired again.

Blue Lock Season Two Synopsis

Season 2 will tell the story of the “vs U-20” arc, where the Blue Lock program participants will undergo a selection to compete against the Japanese U-20 National Team.

However, before the match is held, the participants must go through a selection stage to be able to represent the Japanese U-20 team.

Later, the remaining 35 participants will compete again to enter the 11 best players to compete against the Japanese U-20 National Team.
