For your information, MPL Philippines Season 7 is attended by 10 Esports teams. In detail, 8 invited teams (Bren Esports, Onic PH, Aura PH, Cignal Ultra, Blacklist International, Execration, Omega PH Esports plus NXP Solid). Then, 2 other teams came from the qualifying round (Laus Playbook Esports and Work-Auster Force).

  • Qualification Round

Where, this round will only play 8 Esports teams out of 3040 Esports teams that have previously taken part in the selection.

  • Regular Season Round

Starting on March 19 2021, the Regular Season for the first week of the MPL Philippines Season 7 will begin. For this round, it was divided into two groups namely Group A and Group B. Where for Group A filled by WORK, ONIC, AURA, BREN and CIG. As for Group B, there are BLCK, OMG, EXE, NXP and LPE.

In the opening match on the first day, two teams from Group B, namely OMG (Omega PH Esports) and EXE (Execration) faced each other. In detail, WORK must admit the might of AURA (Aura PH) with a narrow score of 1-2 for their last match.

While the last match on the second day, BREN (Bren Esports) was surprisingly defeated by ONIC (Onic PH) with a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, the matches in the first week for the third day, on March 21 2021 to be precise. AURA instead lost with a score of 1-2 to BLCK (Blacklist International) during their opening match. Second Week of the Regional Season

Entering the second week which will be held on March 26, 2021 (to be the first day). EXE also failed to beat BLCK because they lost with a score of 0-2 in their opening game. Then, OMG was able to come back against NXP after they won with a score of 2-0 in the last game of the day.

The day after that, the second week match for the second day took place. This time, AURA managed to win again. Facing BREN, they were able to win with a score of 2-1 in their opening game. After that, BLCK closed the last game with a 2-0 win over LPE.

On March 28, 2021, which will be the second Sunday for its second day. WORK's awakening is starting to show. Where, they successfully defeated NXP with a score of 2-1 in their first match. After that, BREN also succeeded in stopping its negative trend. This time, Karltzy cs was able to win with a score of 2-1 over EXE. For their last match, ONIC is still consistent in winning.
