The premise used in Mount and Blade 2 is still the same as the previous game, namely building troops, completing quests and being directly involved in war with your troops.

Even though it has the same gameplay as the previous game series, there are several things that have been upgraded.

The military blockades in this game are made more strategic than those in Warband.

Players can build more diverse military blockades and position them before the war begins.

This game presents many features to improve the relationships between the characters in the game. Players can use a more sophisticated dialogue system to persuade NPCs carry out their orders.

When talking to one of the characters, the player must fill in progress bar by winning their argument. If the bar is successfully filled, the character will form an alliance with you.

If that doesn't work, you can also use the game's bartering system to bribe them into working for you.

If you continually fail to persuade the character, an agreement will not be made and the relationship between you will be negatively affected.

This persuasion system can also be used to seduce and marry in-game characters. You can also have children with your partner in this game.

If the character you play dies, one of your children will inherit the territory and troops that you previously owned. He will also be a new character for you to control.

Like the previous game series, namely Warband, the game Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord also has features multiplayer.

This game has 3 class categories, namely Infantry, Ranged, and Cavalry. Each class has its own advantages and disadvantages which are influenced by their faction in general.

You can have a class type using a point system, replacing the money system implemented in the previous game.
