Splatoon 3 storyline

The story in this game takes place 5 years after the previous series, Splatoon 2 and is set in the Splatlands and Splatsville.

Splatlands itself is a hot desert inhabited by Inklings and Octolings who are experts in fighting.

Meanwhile, Splatsville itself is a city that has developed rapidly since the “Chaos vs Order” Splatfest in Splatoon 2.

Splatoon 3 gameplay

Like the previous game series, Splatoon 3 is an action shooting game with a third-person perspective. You can choose to play as an Inkling or Octoling.

Both use weapons that use colored ink as ammunition. Each weapon has different unique abilities.

For example, Chargers are weapons that describe a long-barreled rifle and have a long attack distance.

Inklings and Octolings have the ability to metamorphose into a squid or octopus. This change in shape is called "Swim Form".

With this form, players can climb walls covered in ink or swim through ink faster than in their human form.

The ink used for ammunition is limited, players can fill their ink more quickly if they are in “Swim Form”.

This game has three main game modes, namely Competitive Mode, Salmon Run Next Wave, and Tableturf Table.

Competitive Mode is also called Turf War, where two teams of empathetic players compete to cover the battle area with their ink color.

Once a player successfully reaches level 10, they will gain access to play a Ranked mode called “Anarchy Battles” which features several different types of battles.

Salmon Run Next Wave is a PvE game mode where the main objective is to collect Golden Eggs.

To get it, players must splash ink on special opponents known as “Boss Salmonids” and put them in a basket of eggs.

Lastly, Tableturf Battle is a new game mode introduced in Splatoon 3. Here you will create a card deck consisting of a collection of Trading Cards.

In Tableturf Battle, each card can be used to create a pattern on the square after performing a “special attack” to cover the pattern created by the opponent.

Splatoon 3's Latest DLC

Splatoon 3 just released downloadable content (DLC) on February 8, 2023. This additional content can be purchased for IDR 385,000 at website their official.
