Intel Arc is a brand of graphics card units or graphics cards belonging to well-known technology companies, namely Intel. The brand is Intel's GPUs which are mainly aimed at the high-margin PC gaming market. The GPU also includes Intel consumer graphics software and services.
This GPU by Intel can compete with Nvidia's GeForce and AMD's Radeon GPUs. The Arc-A series has been released for laptops on March 30, 2022. The other series, namely Arc 5 and 7, will arrive later this year, according to Intel. So, what are the specifications and how does Intel compete with other GPU products, namely Nvidia and Radeon? Come on, see the discussion below!

Intel Arc
According to Intel, the name of the GPU, namely Intel Arc, is based on the concept of story games, namely "Story Arcs". Intel developed this GPU generation with the code name "Alchemist". The GPU will be released in the form factor of a graphics card for PCs and additional graphics cards for laptops.
Alchemist uses the Intel Xe GPU architecture, or more specifically, the Xe-HPG variant. This graphics card will support ray tracing like Nvidia's RTX. Apart from that, Intel has also released XeSS or supersampling features similar to Nvidia DLSS. Furthermore, Intel Arc also supports DirectX 12 Ultimate.
DisplayPort 2.0 and Overclocking are also available for Intel's GPU. Intel confirmed that ASTC support is gone, starting with Alchemist and Intel Arc GPUs. The next generation starting from Meteor Lake will use the Intel Arc Tile GPU.

New Rival Nvidia and AMD
Many content creators regarding technology have provided reviews about Intel's GPUs that are available specifically for them, one of which is Paul from RedGamingTech. He hinted that Intel plans to dominate the GPU market, dominating the two largest GPU companies today, namely Nvidia and AMD.
Dominating the GPU market is not easy. Intel had to sacrifice a lot of money to incentivize system integrators and laptop makers to incorporate Intel Arc GPUs into the market's PC and laptop machines.
While Intel can claim to beat Nvidia and AMD in price-to-performance, the Intel company needs to convince PC, laptop, and game developers to start optimizing Arc if it wants to compete. One way to attract developers is to have a large user base that Intel wants to acquire through cash and other incentives.
The Intel company has also “doubled and tripled” its developer assistance program. This is very influential in the process of releasing the GPU so that the wider community can use Intel's GPU, namely Intel Arc.
However, Vicigers will have to wait and see if Intel will be able to dominate the GPU market of the two big companies Nvidia and AMD.

Intel Arc Series Specifications
An event or event by Intel has been happening for more than a few weeks. Intel held the event for its loyal fans. They are looking for opportunities and information about the latest GPU on Intel's social media.
As per the price announcement, the Arc A770 will ship with 16GB of VRAM and the Arc A750 will ship with 8GB of VRAM. Many YouTubers and content creators have tested Intel's GPUs in the past few weeks through various social media.
However, there is an Intel leak which states that the Arc A770 series GPU has two variants, namely 8GB VRAM and 16GB VRAM. This lineup is the final lineup because Intel has clearly denied the existence of the A780 series.
Linus Tech Tips, a well-known YouTube channel that discusses the latest technology, presents an overview of Intel Arc. Intel representatives say that the Arc GPU will perform significantly better than the latest visual APIs such as DirectX12 and Vulkan. It is proven that testing when playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Arc A770 doubles its framerate when using DirectX12.
This GPU by Intel will have a harder time running games that only support DirectX 11 because it's still not very optimal. However, Intel has optimized games with DirectX 12 support, it is evident that Shadow of the Tomb Raider only runs at 39 FPS in DirectX 11 mode and 80 FPS in DirectX 12 mode. For other games, namely Cyberpunk 2077, Linus Tech Tips does not show the FPS counter but he suspects that the frame rate is around 50 to 65 FPS.
Release Date and Price
For Vicigers who are curious about Intel Arc prices, don't worry. There are leaks that the Arc A770 will have an MSRP or official retail price of around $400 USD and the Arc 750 will have a price of around $280 USD to $330 USD.
As for the release date, Intel has yet to provide an official statement regarding the release date of the newest GPU. Vicigers still have to wait and see the developments such as those on the Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel.
Through the image above by WCCF Tech, it can be seen that Intel has a row of GPUs that compete with AMD and Nvidia in terms of price. In fact, Intel's A770 costs significantly less than AMD's and Nvidia's top GPUs.
