The time for the official launch of the Poco X3 Pro in Indonesia is only one day away, although we also don't know for sure whether the Poco X3 Pro will come alone or accompanied by the Poco F3.

But it's better late than never, because launch event Poco X3 Pro tomorrow (20/4/2021), Indonesia will not be the first country to launch this new smartphone series from Xiaomi/Poco.

Almost 1 month after the presence of the Poco X3 Pro globally, Xiaomi is planning to officially launch this cellphone in Indonesia tomorrow. However, thank you Xiaomi, for completing the Poco series smartphone in Indonesia.

OK, back to the Snapdragon 860 discussion, we'll tell you some interesting facts about this processor, let's just watch!

7 Interesting Snapdragon 860 Facts

  • Improved performance from the previous series

Just like the specifications on paper, this processor has various improvements from the previous series, namely Snapdragon 855/855+. The new processor from Qualcomm has the most visible improvement, namely in terms of performance.

Even though they both use Kryo 485, however clockspeed the processor in the Snapdragon 860 increases to 2.96GHz, from the previous 2.84GHz on the Snapdragon 855/855+.

The rest, if we look at the specifications listed on Qualcomm's official website, then between the Snapdragon 855/855+ and 860 processors, both have more or less the same specifications.

  • Not equipped with a 5G modem

Same with the previous series Snapdragon 855/855+ which is not equipped with a 5G modem. Snapdragon 860, although it is a brand-new processor in 2021, Qualcomm has not embedded a 5G modem on this processor.

This means that all smartphones that use this processor will not be supported by the 5G network, unless later Qualcomm provides a specification upgrade or maybe releases the 860+ series that supports 5G.

This also means that the only smartphone that uses this processor, which will officially launch tomorrow in Indonesia, the Poco X3 Pro is not equipped with a 5G network. So, don't ask again, is the Poco X3 Pro 5G or not? It's better if you ask Kominfo, when will the 5G network in Indonesia be officially launched.
