Sky Striker or also known as Sentō in the Official Card Game Yu-Gi-Oh! is an Archetype card type of Machine and Warrior monsters from various Mastery Attributes.

Archetype itself is a term for a group of cards that have the same component name. This allows them to interact with card effects that define the card with that component name.

Sky Striker was first introduced in the Dark Savers Deck Build Pack. This deck has a sub-type called “Sky Striker Ace”. Sky Striker is the first Archetype deck to appear in the official Yu-Gi-Oh!

Level 4 Monster Card types, namely Raye and Roze are the 'heart' of this Deck. The majority of Sky Striker cards are designed with codes that can be seen in their artwork.

The codes used in battle mode are divided into two, namely series X and Z. Series X is used for Raye while series Z is for Roze.

How to Play Sky Striker Deck Cards

There are two important things you need to know when using Sky Striker. The first is to use as many Spell Cards as possible and the second is to leave the Monster Play Zone open.

Sky Striker is most effective when used in the second round so you can respond appropriately to the various effects provided by enemy cards.

If we assume you are playing in the second round, then you can use a basic card combo called Search Combo – Shizuku. Here is the sequence.

First, activate it Sky Striker Mecha Modules – Multirole then use Normal Summon on Sky Striker Ace – Raye.

Second, activate the effect of Raye and use Special Summon from the Extra Deck for cards Sky Striker Ace – Hayate. Enter the Battle Phase and attack.

The effect of Hayate will allow you to attack directly even if your opponent still has monsters in their match area.

The third step is to go to Main Phase 2, then use Hayate as a Link Material to Link Summon the card Sky Striker Ace – Kagari.

When Special Summoning is done via Link Summon, Kagari's effect will be triggered. You can take a Spell card of your choice from the Graveyard in your hand.

After that, use Kagari as a Link Material to Link Summon it Sky Striker Ace – Shizuku. On your last turn, Shizuku's effect will activate.

You can look for the Sky Striker Spell from the Deck with a different name from the other Sky Striker Spell Cards in the Graveyard.

Sky Striker Mecha Modules – Multirole will activate automatically in the final phase and you can use the Sky Strikers Spell card with a different name from Graveyard into the Field.
