All teams will be divided into four groups, each group having four teams that will face each other in a format similar to the previous Masters tournament.

VCT Champions Group Stage Schedule 2022
There are four groups containing each of the four teams participating in the 2022 Champions.
Group A has four teams viz Paper Rex, EDward Gaming, Leviatan, and Team Liquid. Paper Rex will face EDward Gaming on August 31st and Leviatan will face Team Liquid on September 1st 2022.
Group B also has four teams, containing ZETA DIVISION which will face LOUD. In addition, OpTic Gaming will face BOOM Esports. The two matches will take place on September 1, 2022.
Group C matches will take place on September 3. Group C consists of FunPlus Phoenix who will face KRU Esports and XSET who will face XERXIA.
Finally, the two matches that will be present in Group D are DRX with FURIA Esports and Fnatic with 100 Thieves. Group D matches will take place on September 2, 2022.
The format of the Group Stage Champions 2022 is almost the same as the past VCT Masters. Each group will have two winners who will advance to the Playoffs phase and the bottom two teams in each group will fall from the VCT Champions.

VCT Champions Playoffs Schedule 2022
Teams that are able to pass from the Group Stage will go straight to the Upper Bracket Playoffs VCT Champions 2022. Playoffs will start on September 9 and the climax will be the Grand Final on September 18.
Using the Upper and Lower Bracket formats, teams that fail to qualify in the Upper Bracket can still compete in the Lower Bracket phase.
However, for the team that lost in the Lower Bracket phase, they have to go home and will fall in the 2022 VCT Champions tournament.

Players can purchase the 2022 Champions Bundle in the current game of Valorant. The Bundle contains 2022 Phantom Champions, Champions Trophy Card, Butterfly Knife, Hanger, and VCT Champions themed Spray.
