Following ONE Esports' MPL Invitational 2021 last November, ONE Esports and Moonton starting the new year with an exciting Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament, namely the MLBB Womens Invitational 2022 (MWI 2022).
The 2022 MLBB Womens Invitational will compete on nine women's teams in several countries. MWI is similar to MPL Invitational (MPL), but the difference is that this event is for professional female players as MLBB professional gamers.
Of the nine teams participating, they were invited teams from several countries from the Southeast Asian region.
Seven invitations to the MLBB 2022 esports team came from Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Singapore. Some of these teams are also under the auspices of Esports, a fairly popular organization.

What is the 2022 MLBB Women's Invitational?
MLBB Womens Invitational 2022 will bring together nine of Southeast Asia's best women's teams to fight for the chance to become the first Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Womens Invitational Champion.
In addition to the well-known rights, the winner receives the lion's share of the US$15,000 prize pool. Such a gift is not small. Who will pay you to play such a big game? Only Moonton gave such a big prize for the winners in the tournament this time.
MLBB Women's Invitational 2022 format
The nine participating teams will be divided into two groups. Teams from the same region will be assigned to different groups. During the group stage, teams will battle it out in a best-of-one format.
The top four teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs. Since Group A will have five teams, and Group B will have four teams, all teams from Group B will qualify for the playoffs, while one team from Group A will be eliminated.
The nine participating teams will be divided into two groups. Teams in the same region will be deployed in different groups. Games from the group stage will use the best of one format.
The four best teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs. The five team pool and group B will have four teams, all group B equipment will qualify for the playoffs, while a team pool will be eliminated.
2022 MLBB Womens Invitational Schedule and Teams
The tournament will take place from 27 to 30 January 2022. Teams from six countries, including Bren Esports, Omega Esports, IDONOTSLEEP (IDNS), and Impunity Esports, will compete. Unfortunately, IDNS Elsa Thailand has withdrawn from the tournament due to schedule conflicts.
- Philippines – Bren Esports and Omega Esports
- Laos – IDNS Princess
- Cambodia – Impunity Starlets
- Indonesia – WSL
- Malaysia – Athens
- Singapore – Athens
Myanmar, Timor Leste, Thailand and Brunei Darussalam will not participate this year. Even though Thailand already had an invitation from Moonton, but due to conflicting match schedules, they finally withdrew early.
Meanwhile, Myanmar and the other two countries in Southeast Asia have yet to get the chance to play in this big event.

MLBB Womens Invitational 2022 Prize Pool
Moonton does not provide small prizes. Every event they hold is sure to provide something big, even more so for the 2022 MLBB Womens Invitational Prize Pool. Below are details of the US$15,000 prize pool;
