Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the best camera of all time

Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, could come with a 200MP smartphone camera, according to a recently heard leak.

This will be the highest megapixels in the history of a smartphone from Samsung, although it could be that Xiaomi has secretly planned to overtake Samsung to be the first to use a 200MP camera.

Because you know, Xiaomi has been quite ambitious lately with the 'first' title in their latest smartphone line.

The latest report comes from the China IT Home website citing leaker popular Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station as sources. The news follows a teaser from March where Samsung Exynos, the company's chip-making division, shared a tweet showing off the phone's 200MP camera.

Is a 200MP camera really necessary?

This answer is very subjective, but if you are one of those connoisseurs of cellphone cameras, the answer might be 'yes'. More megapixels from a camera will often result in significantly better image quality.

But this also applies if the sensor used is also of good quality, such as Sony, Leica, Samsung, etc. sensors/lenses.

Given that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is already one of the best smartphones for photography activities, the currently rumored Galaxy S22 Ultra also seems to strengthen Samsung's flagship S series line in 2022.

Unfortunately, we may have to wait until then, next year, or maybe if Samsung wants to speed up the launch of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, that's right?

Large megapixels do not guarantee maximum results

Simply put, when you take a picture, the phone will create an image made up of many pixels to match what it sees. High megapixel cameras create images using more pixels, making colors more vivid and objects clearer.

But in reality, this statement is not entirely true for all smartphone cameras, you know that iPhone cameras with lower megapixels than even a 108MP Android camera can produce better photos and videos?

On the other hand, your cellphone will need a processor that is powerful enough to be able to handle image sizes from cameras with large megapixels, and your internal storage will potentially fill up faster.

Besides that, a capable processor will also make the shots and video recordings from your smartphone camera better, because the camera can use AI performance support on the processor to help it produce images that you never even imagined before.

For matters of a capable processor, I don't think you need to be afraid of that. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will definitely be embedded with the best processor when Samsung launches it later, because what? Because the Galaxy S Ultra series is Samsung's flagship flagship series to date
