RRQ Hoshi changes name ahead of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 11 or MPL ID S11 which will be held soon.

The news about RRQ Hoshi changing its name has actually been heard for some time.

This can be seen from the official Instagram account of the CEO of RRQ, Andrian Pauline or known as Pak AP.

Not long ago, Mr. AP gave a response from a netizen who suggested that RRQ Hoshi change the name.

At that time, he also admitted that he would consider it.

We certainly need to know the meaning of RRQ first.

RRQ is an abbreviation or acronym for Rex Regum Qeon. Rex Regum is a Latin word which means King of Kings.

Meanwhile, Qeon is an in-game nickname used by Riki K. Suliawan, the owner and founder of RRQ.

The Indonesian Mobile Legends division at RRQ was previously named RRQ Hoshi. Now, RRQ Hoshi has changed its name to RRQ.

Mr. AP previously announced that the name RRQ Hoshi would be changed.

The name change welcomed one of the suggestions from netizens who contacted him via Instagram DM.

This follows the defeat of RRQ Hoshi in the Mobile Legends world championship: Bang Bang or M4 World Championship in Jakarta.

"Sir, try changing the name RRQ Hoshi, find a feng shui name/expert, this is just a suggestion, believe it or not, there's no harm in trying," wrote the netizen.

He also responded to this. Mr. AP stated that RRQ Hoshi's name will be changed this season.

"He I will change the name Hoshi next season," he said.

AP's statement is also proven by the change of name from RRQ Hoshi to RRQ in MPL ID S11 which is scheduled to be held in Moonton next month.

In the roster announcement video, it can be seen that RRQ Hoshi no longer uses Hoshi behind him.
