Ahead of the Sea Games in May 2022, PBESI officially announced the roster PUBG Sea Games which will represent the Indonesian contingent.

Garudaku via live Instagram broadcast the announcement live. Not only that, PUBG Mobile Indonesia through uploads on Instagram also announced the roster for the 2022 Sea Games.

Esports fans, especially those who like games with genres Battle Royale finally answered after a long wait. Naturally, if they are very curious about anyone roster-considering that Indonesia has many potential pro players who will enter the national team.

The Sea Games is a major sporting event that involves all countries in the Southeast Asian region. This is an event that always takes place every two years where this time it is the 31st edition with Hanoi being the host.

This edition is the second time that esports is included in the sports being contested. The athletes will later compete for gold medals from around 8 numbers in the esports branch, including the PUBG Mobile number.

Meanwhile, the event which will be held in May 2022 will be the first year for the number PUBG Mobile after previously reported not yet entered.

In order to achieve maximum results at the Sea Games later, all participating countries including Indonesia have made long preparations. The preparation starts from the selection process, national training, to finally the selection of players.

Sea Games National Training Process

PBESI as the official esports organization in Indonesia has conducted a series of selections to select the best players to represent red and white at the Sea Games.

Until finally, from the selection process, 22 names of PUBG Mobile players were selected who entered the national training camp (pelatnas) stage in early March. All the players who entered the national training center were players from various selection paths.

Best representative PMPL ID Season 4, national championship champions, PON players, as well as recommendations from coaches are some of the selection paths to enter the roster list.

The selection process is, of course, very tight considering that these players certainly have the experience, ability, and achievements that are qualified enough to become national team players.

PBESI, including coaches, certainly have their own considerations in choosing players who are suitable to represent Indonesia, not only referring to abilities, experience and achievements.

During the selection stage, PBESI provided explanations and supplies related to the Sea Games to 22 players while conducting a re-selection process to determine the 10 main rosters.

After going through a rigorous selection process, 10 players were selected to represent the PUBG team at the Sea Games. All of them are definitely players who are familiar to PUBG Mobile game lovers.

His skills and experience also need not be questioned and the fans of course hope they can win gold for PUBG numbers.

The composition of the 10 PUBG Sea Games roster above is a combination of PON track players, coach recommendations, and accomplished players from big Indonesian teams. 

JayDen, Ryzen, Luxxy, Microboy, and Redface are some of the professional players who play for big teams, such as AURA Esports, Bigetron Red Alien, and EVOS Reborn.

JayDen and Redface who are players from the AURA Esports and EVOS Reborn teams are the two names that entered through the PON route.

In addition, some of them have also made achievements in their teams. For example, Katou who brought Geek Fam ID to lift the PMPL ID Season 3 trophy.

Don't forget the names Ryzen and Luxxy who were the world champions at PUBG with Bigetron Red Alien.

Interestingly, out of the 10 rosters there is no name Zuxxy who is Luxxy's twin brother. This is certainly quite surprising considering that Zuxxy and Luxxy always play together in a team.

However, this selection certainly has its own considerations from the coach and other talented players who can finally replace Zuxxy's position on the team.

Apart from the PUBG Sea Games roster, PBESI also announced the line-up of the coaching team, starting from coaches, managers and analysts. They will later be in charge of the Indonesian PUBG National Team.

For trainers, Jeffry Hariwijaya and Andrew Harwin Harijadi will be the tacticians for the solo and team categories of PUBG respectively.

Meanwhile, Isfan Satria Wijaya and Ershad Riansyah will fill the positions of solo and team category managers. Followed by Valerian Danilo and Doni Saputra as solo and team category analysts.
