Rococo Rescue Quest Guide in Hogwarts Legacy

Talking to Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh

To start this quest, go to a village in the Bainburgh area. The location is in the southern part of the map and can be found at the northernmost tip of the Cape Manor area.

When you arrive at the location, go forward to talk to Agnes Coffey the vendor. Accept his request to start the quest.

Enter Henrietta's Hideaway

There is a place called Henrietta's Hideaway, a ruin located at the southernmost tip of the Cape Manor area.

When you arrive at this location, approach the ruins from the east. You will see a gate built into the lower wall, go through it.

Avoid Floors That Have Been Enchanted

Once you enter the ruins, you will see a pair of bronze plaques lying on the floor. The plaque on the right has a magic block on it.

You can find the second plaque behind a statue near the north wall of the room.

Use the Incendio spell to rotate the statue so that the block is visible. Next, place it on the bronze plaque that has been marked by the Incendio spell.

Once you place both correctly, a path to continue the journey will open.

In the next room you will find a Hippogrif statue on top of a treasure map. Later, you will meet a group of Ashwinders here, defeat them all.

Next, climb the stairs in the left corner of the room from where we entered. Above, you will find a floor that has been given a spell.

If you step on it, you will be sucked into the nearest wall and ejected back to the nearest place. Here you should avoid it as much as possible.

There are several ways to get through this floor. First, you can use Arresto Momentum on the floor to make it stop approaching you.

Another alternative is to use the Accio spell to attract a fire pit to attract the attention of nearby Ashwinders to the floor.

When the Middle Ashwinder is sucked in by the floor, run as fast as you can to get through the floor.

Searching for Rococo Existence

After passing through this floor, go to the larger room to the east. There will be more Ashwinders coming your way. Beat them all.

Next, climb the ladder on the opposite platform with the Rangers to reach another small balcony area.

From here use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to move the metal cube on the Ranger platform to the western part of the room where you find a metal plaque on the floor.

Place the metal cube on top of a plaque with the Leviosa symbol on it. Now you need to find the whereabouts of other cubes.

Look down the ladder you just climbed. Head to the nearest intersection of stairs and approach the wall. You will see a secret room, go into it.

In this room you will find a Treasure Chest, a metal cube for a plaque outside behind some barrels and a Musical Map on the table.

Take the Musical Map for the quest Solved by the Bell and return to use Wingardium Leviosa to place the metal cube on the plaque where it belongs.

After placing everything correctly, a door will open. Continue through the door.

You will find a treasure room where there will be some gold on the floor and a large Treasure Chest.

This room is also where the Niffler we are looking for is hiding. Look for him and use the Nab-Sack to take him back to Bainburgh.
