UGREEN TWS Review: Clear Sound and Easy to Use!

This time we will do a review of TWS UGREEN. So that we can find out the features and quality of each of these TWS.

There are three UGREEN TWS that we review. Each of these TWS is UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118, UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108, and UGREEN HiTune T3 WS106.

Btw, the three TWS have clear sound. In addition, it is also pleasant when used. Without lingering, let's just take a look at the results of the review!

UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118

Sound generated from TWS UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118 tends to balance warm so that the bass sound produced is more than the others. The bass produced is clear and still pleasant to listen to. 

Although the sound of the UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118 tends to be mid to low, it doesn't get muffled because the mid to high frequencies can still be heard properly thanks to the 10mm DLC Driver.

With a price of less than Rp. 1 million, you can get ANC which can dampen down to -35 dB so that incoming sound is well muffled.

But when ANC is activated, the sound from TWS turns warmer, because the treble and mid of the UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118 TWS are reduced.

UGREEN HiTune X6 WS118 also uses Bluetooth 5.1 so that the battery used lasts longer and can be used over long distances.

The fit of the UGREEN HiTune X6 earbuds is comfortable when placed in the ear, these earbuds are also suitable for sports.

 

UGREEN X6 WS118 review

• This TWS can be connected to Bluetooth by simply opening the case. So you don't have to bother putting the earbuds in your ears and then connecting them to Bluetooth
• Codecs: Qualcomm AAC, SBC
• Freq: 20Hz 20kHz
• Soundstage: The soundstage from TWS is indeed not the most impressive and wide, but this TWS can give the impression of listening to songs closer to the singer
• Treble: Treble is comfortable to listen to, but if there was a slight boost in the treble we think it would be better
• Mid: Vocals are still clear but slightly obscured by bass
• Bass: High mid to low intensity so that the bass from TWS is more dominant than the others.
• Latency: Very good latency, with a latency of 50ms the sound feels more responsive
• Mic: The sound from the mic can be heard clearly, the sound from outside when talking can be well muffled
• ANC (Active Noise Canceling) feels more impermeable because it can drown out more sound but the sound of incoming wind can still irritate the ears. TWS also doesn't have Ambient Mode, so if you want to listen to sounds around ANC, it's better to just turn it off.

• Control of the UGREEN X6 WS118 TWS uses a touch system so there is no feedback for the user.

UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108

With a price of around IDR 700 thousand, TWS UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108 it provides excellent sound quality. Wide soundstage with typical balanced sound so details when listening to music can be heard clearly. 

This TWS is perfect for those of you who want to listen to songs comfortably and also enjoy every sound in it. Because this TWS produces very good sound quality.

You can listen to songs with the UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108 for 7 hours and there's an additional 28 hours in the charging case. So you can listen to songs for a very long time. 

If your earbuds battery runs out, then you can charge it in the charging case for 1.5 hours from the battery level to full.

The case from UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108 can be charged using type C for approximately 2 hours from 0 to full.

fittings from UGREEN HiTune X5 WS108 is similar to UGREEN HiTune X6. It is suitable for sports and has an IPX5 rating so that sweat that falls into the ears does not damage the TWS.

 

UGREEN X5 WS108 Review

• Pairing when opened so it doesn't need to be plugged into the ear first for Bluetooth pairing
• Codecs: Qualcomm aptX, AAC, SBC
• Freq: 20Hz 20kHz
• Stage: The soundstage feels wide so you can hear many instruments in different positions
• Treble: The treble sound is clear but not too harsh so it's comfortable to listen to
• Mid: Mid feels clear, the singer's vocals and intonation are heard clearly
• Basses: The low from TWS feels full, the bass doesn't cover the singer's vocals
• Mic: The sound from the mic can be heard clearly, but there is still outside sound coming through
• Latency: The latency from TWS feels very responsive, because it is from the Qualcomm aptX Codec so the latency that is felt is not too high
• Bluetooth 5.2
• The control of the UGREEN X5 WS108 TWS uses a touch system so there is no feedback for the user

UGREEN HiTune T3 WS106

Next, we will review UGREEN HiTune T3 WS106. TWS from UGREEN is sold for around IDR 500 thousand.

At that price, you already get ANC and also Ambience Mode which can rival earbuds with ANC priced above Rp. 1 million. 

The sound from UGREEN T3 is bassy so it can be classified for bassheads who really like songs with high bass intensity. 

Fitting the UGREEN T3 earbuds feels like using airpods because they are indeed similar in shape, and have soft earpieces.

UGREEN T3 WS106 Review

• Pairing when the case is opened
• Codecs: AAC, SBC
• Freq: 20Hz 20kHz
• Soundstage: It doesn't feel wide, like listening to the band's performance from the front
• Trebles: Frequency highs feel muffled 
• Mid: Mid feels clear so the singer's vocals are clear to hear
• Bass: Low frequencies are the most dominant for this TWS and with clear bass too, perfect for bassheads
• Mic: The sound from the mic feels clear and is more dominant for low frequencies, but when it's busy only other people's voices enter the mic. However, sounds from all around except human voices were well masked
• ANC: Ambient Mode feels clear but still doesn't feel clear from the incoming sound. The outside voice that goes into the mic is like a robot
• Noise Canceling has a low frequency section so high frequency sounds can still enter even though it's not too loud
• Charging: 
  • Charging the earbuds can be fully charged in 1.5 hours
  • Charging for the case itself takes 2 hours with a type C cable
• Operating Time: 7 Hours of Use with an additional 24 Hours in the case
• Bluetooth 5.2
• Control: when pressed it sounds like a physical button is pressed so that there is a psychological effect on the physical button
• The build quality is very nice to hold and put in the bag, but it's slippery to hold, be careful!
