Type of Genshin Impact Resin
There are several types of Genshin Impact resin that are different but actually have the same function and support one another.
There are a total of 4 resins inside games when this article was written. The 4 types of resin are Original Resin, Condensed Resin, Fragile Resin, and Transient Resin.
Original Resin is the base exchange or base resin that you will use to exchange rewards from fighting bosses or domains.

Condensed Resin is a material that you can get by processing original resin and crystal core with crafting on the table alchemy.
You need a recipe that you can get when your Reputation Liyue is at level 3 and you can make a maximum of 5 condensed resins.
The function of condensed resin is a means of exchange, just like the original resin. But the amount you get will be twice as much rewards or the prizes you get.
You can't exchange condensed resin for rewards from bosses or big enemies. You can only use condensed resin, namely:
- Ley Line Blossom from Ley Line Outcrops
- Petrified Tree from the artifact or material domain.
Fragile resins and Transient resins is the resin you use to refill your original resin.
Every one fragile or transient resin will fill your 60 original Genshin Impact resins.
The difference between the two is that fragile resin and transient resin lie in the method of obtaining and the time limit for use.
Fragile resins you can get if you increase the level Battle Pass by doing the Battle Pass commission. There is no time limit for using fragile resin so you can save it.
You can exchange transient resin at Realm Depot which is in Teapot but has a maximum time of 7 days if not used will expired.

How to Carefully Use Genshin Impact Resin
Genshin Impact Resin is an important medium of exchange but unfortunately difficult to obtain. You have to be careful when using it so you can get the material you need.
For original resin focus on weekly boss or normal boss what you really need the material.
Every 3 weekly boss first will get a discount from 60 original resin used to 30 original resin.
Look for materials from enemies which you need first to upgrade your character to take first.
For artifact domains you can use your Genshin Impact Condensed resin because the 5 star artifacts you get are more likely stat better.
Material domains such as weapons or book (Guide of Prosperity for example) use original resin. Because if you use Condensed resin, the amount you get won't really affect it.
Events rerun Overflowing Mastery, which will be available in March 2022, will give you extra material so you can use Fragile Resin to grinding or farming materials later.
