Both have Super AMOLED screens, these two smartphones are increasingly seen as true rivals. What are the differences between these two cellphones, which one is better between Redmi Note 10 Pro vs Realme 8 Pro? Soon we will know the answer, we will summarize everything VCGamers style!
Redmi Note 10 Pro vs Realme 8 Pro
-
Screen Sector
In this sector, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a wider screen span than the Realme 8 Pro, which is 6.67 inches vs 6.4 inches. And these two cellphones both have a 20: 9 ratio, and FullHD + resolution.
Even though they both use a Super AMOLED screen, it turns out that the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a higher brightness level than the Realme 8 Pro, which is 1200 nits vs 1000 nits. The difference in 200 nits may not be too pronounced to the naked eye, but it will be felt if you pay close attention, then you will get a wider angle of view in all conditions if you use the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
The Realme 8 Pro screen isn't too special either because it doesn't feature a 120Hz refresh rate like its rival, the Redmi Note 10 Pro. You have to be satisfied with the 60Hz refresh rate if you finally decide to buy the Realme 8 Pro.
For screen protection matters, the Realme 8 Pro is also not protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass / Dragontrail. However, this still has to wait for confirmation from Realme Indonesia. Who knows, Realme Indonesia wants to surprise them by providing a layer of Gorilla Glass for the Realme 8 series units, especially the Realme 8 Pro, which came out officially in Indonesia.

Body Design
Unlike the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which already uses a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on the backdoor. The Realme 8 Pro has to be content with just a plastic backdoor but it's still beautiful, because it's supported by attractive colors and a modern rear camera design setup.
The Realme 8 Pro also loses in terms of certification, where this HP does not yet have IP53 certification which claims that with this certification, the HP will be resistant to dust and splashes of water.
Again, the Redmi Note 10 Pro excels in this sector, and Realme 8 Pro has to admit defeat. There are only two sectors, we will continue to the third sector.

Overall Performance
On paper, the Realme 8 Pro processor is indeed inferior to the Redmi Note 10 Pro, because it still carries the Snapdragon 720G, unlike the Redmi Note 10 Pro which already carries the Snapdragon 732G.
But in reality, the two processors on HP (Redmi Note 10 Pro vs. Realme 8 Pro) actually have almost the same performance, they won't even feel much different when used. These two processors have the same clock speed and the same GPU, namely Adreno 618. The only difference here is that the Snapdragon 720G uses Kryo 465 Silver, while the Snapdragon 732G uses Kryo 470 Silver.
You must also be familiar with what Kryo is, so we won't explain the details here, the point is that the two Snapdragon processor series have almost identical performance.
Then in the internal storage technology sector, Realme 8 Pro still uses UFS 2.1, unlike the Redmi Note 10 Pro which already uses UFS 2.2. UFS 2.1 is even better than just eMMC, but if a mid-range 2021 HP class doesn't use UFS 2.2, it feels like something is missing.
For matters of internal memory and the amount of RAM, Xiaomi has officially announced that they will bring two variants 6/64GB and 8/128GB for the Redmi Note 10 Pro. As for the Realme 8 Pro, we are still waiting for the official announcement, although globally this cellphone also has 2 variants, namely 6/128GB and 8/128GB.
How is this 2 HP competition? In the discussion of Part 1, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is still superior, how about discussing the specifications of the next sector? Will the Redmi Note 10 Pro still excel? We will continue in Part 2.
