6 Things From Redmi Note 10 5G You Must Know!

Yesterday on Thursday, July 22 2021, Xiaomi has just introduced their new family of the Redmi series, namely the Redmi Note 10 5G.

Smartphones with the latest 5G network are currently being loved by many Indonesians.

Some time ago, there was even a time when someone played satire, you know, Vicigers between this brand with the rabbit logo and the brand next door!

But, okay, no need to discuss it, now let's just discuss a few things that I think you should know before you finally choose to propose to this cell phone.

6 things you must know about the Redmi Note 10 5G

1. First Redmi 5G cellphone

Who just knew, that the Redmi Note 10 5G is the first Redmi series in the world equipped with 5G network technology?

Previously, there was indeed the Poco M3 Pro 5G, the first mid-range class smartphone from Poco with the 5G Killer tagline which was previously teased by the brand next door.

Interestingly, the Redmi Note 10 5G currently supports all 5G bands that are available in Indonesia. Such as the n40 band used by Telkomsel, the n3 band used by Indosat Ooredoo, etc.

In full, this HP 5G network supports all bands n1, n3, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77 and n78.

So you don't need to worry anymore, as happened before in the Poco F3 case which didn't support the n40 band, so Telkomsel customers couldn't sample the 5G network in several available locations.

2. Body & Screen

As for the dimensions, this cellphone is 16.18cm high, 7.53cm wide and 0.89cm thick. It's pretty thin, not up to 0.9cm, for a Mid Range HP size.

As for its own weight, this cellphone weighs around 190 grams, still within reasonable size, although it's not the lightest.

The Redmi Note 10 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD + landscape, with an IPS panel, and is also equipped with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Is it suitable for you who like to play FPS games?

Unfortunately, this cellphone is not equipped with an AMOLED panel screen like its other Redmi Note 10 variants. At least with an IPS screen panel, you won't be too haunted by the fear that the HP screen will experience burn-in.

Do you know what burn-in is? That's it! An AMOLED panel screen disease that can make the image on the screen shaded or leave marks.

However, it seems that the problem of burn-in/image retention is rarely found on the latest smartphones that use AMOLED panels, but who knows? It's a name, just in case.

Oh, for screen protection, it was written on the GSMArena website, this cellphone screen has been protected by Gorilla Glass 3 from Corning, but there is no mention of this on the official Xiaomi Indonesia website or their official social media.

So, just wait for confirmation from Xiaomi, maybe Xiaomi / Redmi don't want to highlight old features on their newest smartphone.

3. Performance

In terms of the kitchen runway, the Redmi Note 10 5G is equipped with one of the newest processors from Mediatek, namely the Dimensity 700, which has a 7nm fabrication.

Dimensity 700 is a mid-range class processor from Mediatek which has been embedded with a 5G modem.

The AnTuTu Benchmark score for this cellphone was recorded to be able to break the number of more than 325 thousand, Vicigers! Not bad right?

For the Indonesian market, the Redmi Note 10 5G only has 2 RAM and internal memory variants, namely 4/128GB and 8/128GB with LPDDR4X RAM.

This HP storage technology already uses UFS 2.2 which of course has better read & write speeds than UFS 2.1.

4. Camera

In the camera sector, this cellphone has a setup of three rear cameras and one selfie camera.

The rear camera of the Redmi Note 10 5G is equipped with a 48MP model for the main camera, and 2MP each for the macro camera & depth sensor.

The only downside to this HP rear camera setup is that it doesn't have an ultra-wide camera lens, even if there was one, it would definitely be more complete!

Do not forget that Redmi also buried an 8MP selfie camera to complement this cellphone.

5. Battery & Features

Redmi armed this cellphone with a large battery, but yes, it's standard for Xiaomi, isn't it? The 5,000mAh battery is now commonly found in most of the latest Xiaomi cellphones on the market.

Looking at the many reviewers who have used and tried this cellphone, it is noted that the Redmi Note 10 5G is capable of providing a Screen on Time (SoT) of around 6-7 hours. But this shouldn't be a standard, because SoT will depend on how we use it.

However, it's a shame, this cellphone is only equipped with 18Watt fast charging, again different from its other Redmi Note 10 siblings which are already equipped with 33Watt fast charging.

People say, with a fast charging Watt that isn't too big, it can extend the battery life of a device, Vicigers, myth or fact, come on?

There is one feature that is missing from the other Redmi Note 10 variants, namely for the 5G variant, this cellphone is not equipped with stereo speakers.

Ouch, why does Xiaomi/Redmi have the heart to circumcise features that previously existed. But don't worry, mainstay features such as NFC, IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, fingerprint, and others are still embedded in this Redmi Note 10 5G.

For the OS, this cellphone is equipped with Android 11 and MIUI 12, so you will get updates on the latest features from Xiaomi and Google.

This is the part you've been waiting for the most. For the lowest 4/128GB variant, the Redmi Note 10 5G will be priced at IDR 2,699,000, and IDR 2,999,000 for the highest 8/128GB variant.
