HSR Sunday Build Recommendations: Trace, Relic, Light Cone, Party
Who here is waiting for Sunday to become a playable character in Honkai Star Rail like the author? Have you built Sunday to the max?
Robin's older brother is a playable character with the Harmony path and Imaginary element. Quite unique considering Robin is also the same path.
As a Harmony character, it is undeniable that the head of the Oak family deserves to be an SS Tier character! In addition to being very superior to increasing DMG from various DPS characters.
An ability that should not be missed is that it can increase the DMG buff of characters who use Summon. Suitable for DPS Jing Yuan and Remembrance characters like Aglaea.
So what is a good Sunday HSR build? Check out this article to find out!

This build recommendation will discuss various aspects that you must build for Sunday starting from Trace, Light Cone, Relic, Ornament, to the team in general and the range that can be used with different variations.
Like other Harmony path support characters, Normal Attack is not a priority Trace for Sunday. You can skip it to maximize this Trace level.
The trace that you must maximize is Skill because the buff increase to the character will be done by Sunday through Skill.
In addition, using Skills can also restore the Skill Points you have used as many as 2 Skill Points.
Next is the Ultimate that you must maximize the level, followed by Trace Talent. Note, Ultimate and Skill must be at maximum level.
If you sort it by priority, then what you must maximize is: Skill > Ultimate > Talent > Normal Attack
Without Eidolon, Sunday is already very good to support and buff the DPS characters in your team. However, if you still have Stellar Jade prepared for Sunday, the recommended Eidolons that you can target to get are:
Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal is the best relic to fill the Sunday fullset slot. This relic is very good for you to use because it can increase the SPD as well as the Crit DMG of the DPS character you buff with Sunday.
You can pair Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal with Messenger Traversing Hackerspace on each Relic 2 PC to increase Sunday's SPD quite significantly.
However, if I have to choose, the author prefers to use full set Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal because the buff given is more optimal.
Broken Keel can fill the best Ornament slot that increases Effect RES and Crit DMG. Alternatively, you can use Lushaka, the Sunken Seas or Sprightly Vonwacq which increases Energy Regen.
The recommended Light Cone itself is A Grounded Ascent. Other Light Cone alternatives for Sunday are:
It is certain that Sunday is not a Support character who can provide DMG like Aventurine or Luocha.
After the author tried it, Sunday can be very suitable for supporting various DPS. Especially, Sunday will be very good for DPS Hypercarry characters and those who can do Summon.
Hypercarry DPS that you can use include Imbibitor Lunae, Seele, Jingliu, Blade, Acheron, Feixiao and others.
DPS who rely on large DMG from Summon mechanics like Jing Yuan also get a large DMG increase.
Remember, Jing Yuan had dropped in DPS tier because there were many DPS whose DMG was more massive than General Xianzhou Luofu.
With the release of the new Remembrance path that focuses on the game mechanic of Summon Memosprite, you can maximize the DMG from this path even more.
However, Sunday's drawback is that it is not good enough to support character buffs that utilize Break and DoT. Not because it is not suitable, but other supports such as Lingsha, Fugue, or Ruan Mei.
You should avoid Break DPS like Boothill and Firefly, or DoT DPS like Jiaoqiu, Kafka, and Black Swan.
Here are some team recommendations that you can follow to ensure maximum buff from Sunday:

For the Jing Yuan team slot, you will be able to replace the upcoming Remembrance character Aglaea. Overall, Sunday will be a support character who will shine even brighter considering that Remembrance characters will be released in the upcoming patch.
