Alhaitham's shining ability is the Chisel-Light Mirror mechanical ability.

When you use Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, a leaf-shaped icon called Chisel-Light Mirror will appear.

The total Chisel-Light Mirror that Alhaitham has will affect the amount of DMG from Elemental Burst or Elemental Skill.

The more there are, of course the DMG will be bigger and the AoE will be bigger. Alhaitham will get a maximum of 3 stacked Chisel-Light Mirrors from using Elemental Skills or Elemental Burst with the condition that no Chisel-Light Mirrors are active.

Alhaitham's Best Team Comps Recommendations

Alhaitham's talent kit prioritizes attacks that deal DMG from the Dendro element. 

Automatically, the focus of the team comps that you will build later for Alhaitham will be to utilize DMG from Dendro's elemental reactions.

The Dendro elemental reactions that are suitable for Alhaitham are almost all Dendro elemental reactions.

You can adjust Dendro's elemental reactions which one is suitable for you to play with the availability of support characters that you can use. 

The following are several recommendations for Alhaitham's best team comps which have been adapted to Dendro's various elemental reactions.

Catalyze (Quicken, Spread, and Aggravate)

The Catalyze reaction is a complex reaction between Dendro and Electro elements. The basic reaction resulting from the Dendro and Electro application is Quicken.

Basically, Alhaitham is a good applicator and On Field DPS Dendro, so Alhaitham will be on the field most often to attack.

Therefore, this team will need off field support for Dendro and Electro elements.

Please remember that the Quicken reaction is a basic reaction that will not deal DMG to the enemy but will give a "marker" in the form of an aura.

To get DMG, you can choose between Quicken + Dendro reactions (Spreads) or Quicken + Electro (Aggravate) that you want to play. This will determine the rotation of your Alhaitham team later.

Rotationally, Spreads much more suitable and easier to apply for Alhaitham considering his role as On Field DPS. 

This makes it easier for Alhaitham to apply Dendro to the Quicken reaction for the Spread reaction than for the character to apply Electro for Aggravate.

Bloom (Hyperbloom and Burgeon)

Bloom is a reaction between Hydro and Dendro which produces Dendro Seed. This Dendro Seed can explode if time runs out or is exposed to the application of other elements.

The elements that will react with Dendro Seed are Electro (Hyperbloom) and Pyro (Burgeon). 

Of course, you can just play with Bloom. However, the author does not recommend a pure Bloom team for Alhaitham because it is difficult to apply who can trigger the Bloom reaction well.

But if you want to try the Bloom team, it would be great to use Alhaitham + Nilou + Xingqiu + Yaoyao who can react to Nilou's Bounty Seed and get a more stable Dendro Seed.
