Honkai Star Rail Special Program Recap, Announce Release Date!

Chinese game developer miHoYo recently announced that it has finally released its newest game, namely Honkai Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail will finally be released following its predecessor game, namely the famous game Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Tears of Themis after going through several close betas in 2022.

Like the previous miHoYo games, Honkai Star Rail will be a game with an RPG (Role Playing Game) system. Of course, this game will present gameplay that is more unique and different than other games.

Honkai Star Rail Background Story

Honkai Star Rail will take a futuristic, modern Sci-Fi theme as the main theme of the game's story.

You and you will play the role of Trailblazer, a term for Honkai Star Rail players similar to Traveler in Genshin Impact or Captain in Honkai Impact 3rd.

You will travel from a different place called the World to prevent the danger from Stellaron. Stellaron itself is a mysterious substance that can harm the world. 

Surely you will not be alone in traveling between worlds! You will adventure with a member of Trailblaze named Astral Express.

Astral Express is a train that can move from one world to another thanks to the help of Akivili, The Aeon of Traiblazer.

The Trailblazer members themselves are Himeko, Welt, Dan Heng, and March 7th who will accompany the Trailblazers in preventing danger.

Gameplay Honkai Star Rail

Honkai Star Rail certainly comes with a different and different gameplay than its predecessor game even though it's still an RPG game like Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Tears of Themis.

Turn-based gameplay with an Open World system will be the main interesting point of Honkai Star Rail. 

Turn-based game is a game system where the characters in the party and the enemy will take turns to attack with a rotating system.

Unlike Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact where you have to dodge while fighting enemies, Honkai Star Rail will prioritize your strategy in utilizing your character's abilities.

You can attack the enemy at the enemy's weak point or called Weakness to start the battle mode and get the advantage of reducing the difficulty of the enemy.

World Honkai Star Rail system

The Open World system with a large area will also be the main attraction of the World Honkai Star Rail.

While traveling looking for Stellaron, you can walk around every world that you will visit with Astral Express.

This world has different forms that you can visit, for example a city like Belobog or a ship belonging to The Xianzhou Alliance called Xianzhou Luofu.

When updating 1.0 or releasing the game, 3 Worlds will open that you can visit, namely: Herta's Space Station, Belobog, and Xianzhou Luofu.

Herta's Space Station will be the first place you go to where you will visit a laboratory-like place belonging to a character named Herta.

Furthermore, your adventure to find Stellaron will start for the first time in Belobog. Belobog is a city that is always in winter and is divided into 2 regions, namely: Overworld and Underworld.

The next world that you will go to is Xianzhou Luofu. Xiashou Luofu is World with a concept taken from China with a futuristic touch.

While at Xiashou Luofu you can also travel to a place called Exalting Sanctum and find a mysterious tree.

Honkai Star Rail Character System

Various interesting characters will of course accompany the Trailblazers to fight the enemy.

At the beginning of the game you will be given free characters in the form of MC, Dan Heng, and March 7th. Of course, you can get other characters through the Gacha Banner system.

All characters will be equipped with attacking talents in the form of Standard Attack, Skill, and Ultimate. Characters who use Standard Attack will get Skill Points.

Skill Points are energy that you can use a certain amount to use Skills and Ultimate.

Each character will have a different number of Skill Points to use Skills. In fact, characters like Arlan don't need Skill Points and sacrifice HP to be able to use Skills.

In addition, each character will be equipped with different elements and classes or called Paths.

The 7 Elements in Honkai Star Rail are Physical, fire, ice, lightning, wind, quantum energy and imaginary attacks.

Path itself is a class for each character depending on the Skill and ability of the character in the party based on The Aeon that each individual follows.

The Aeon itself is the designation of God-like creatures or Gods worshiped by humans in World Honkai Star Rail which gives them special abilities such as attacking, recovering HP, or character buffs.

Of course, you can build characters to be strong by using Relics and Light Cones.

Relics can be said to be an artifact system similar to Genshin Impact. You have to adjust Relics Stats and elements according to the character.

While the Light Cone is the name for a substitute for Weapon. You must use the appropriate Light Cone according to the Path of each character.

Characters, Relics, and Light Cones will have quality levels depending on Rarity. Characters will have 4-star and 5-star Rarity while Relics and Light Cones will be available from 2-star.

Honkai Star Rail's Gacha Banner System

You can get other characters through the Gacha banner called Stellar Warp. Stellar Warp will be divided into 2 banners, namely Permanent and Event. 

You will use a Stellar Ticket to get characters or Light Cones in the Banner. 

At the release of the Honkai Star Rail game, there will be 2 Stellar Warp Event Banners that you can get.

In the first phase you can get the 5-star character Seele and the 5-star Light Cone In the Night.

In the second phase, you can get the 5-star character Jing Yuan and the 5-star Light Cone Before Dawn.

There is also a Pity system which is similar to Genshin Impact where in certain Warps you will definitely get a 5 star character or Light Cone.

Honkai Star Rail Release Date and Play Platforms

The Honkai Star Rail game will be released on April 26, 2023. You can play it on a Windows or Linux-based PC, as well as an Android or iOS-based Smartphone. 

Later, you will also be able to play on the Playstation and also from the EPIC Store with a date that will be announced later.

The release of Honkai Star Rail will also give you lots of in-game rewards, such as discounts at Departure Warp to get 5-star characters, get login rewards, and many more!

Of course there will be many events that will accompany your game such as: Web Event, Forgotten Hall, Simulated Universe, and others.
