PUBG Mobile is a version of the Battle Royale game that is very popular until now. After the latest update from Krafton, finally the PUBG Sanhok Map was maintained and not removed from the game. Behind it all, the Sanhok PUBG map is not really liked compared to the very popular Erangel map.

The Sanhok PUBG map is inspired by the tropical islands of Thailand and the Philippines, the title features rainy weather, lots of trees, hills, rocks, roads, rivers and some shelters. Despite its uniqueness, not many players prefer Sanhok over Erangel.

Of course, this has certain reasons for all players. Playing PUBG games, the map is one of the factors to get the benefits and gameplay of each player. More players play on Erangel compared to Sanhok PUBG.

Reasons for the PUBG Sanhok Map Not So Liked by Players

Smaller Sanhok

Of the six maps in PUBG Mobile, Sanhok is the smallest map with an area of 4×4 km. Since Sanhok is a swamp-like area, most of the land is under water. This leaves less land available for play.

There are very few places to loot, such as boot camps and ruins, but items can be found everywhere. Less ground, automatically means less vehicle spawns and more close combat.

The Sanhok PUBG map is also not suitable for those of you who want to complete match missions. Because you can be eliminated first before the last zone comes.

Faster Battles

For those of you who prefer shorter sessions and intense action, they are usually more suitable for playing in the PUBG Sanhok map. The match at Sanhok was 20 minutes longer. However, finding a weapon isn't that much of a challenge as all of the locations have tons of them.

However, players who like longer battles with an authentic BR experience might not like Sanhok. Not much strategy is needed as you are easily killed in a smaller playing area. 

May Be Hard to Master

Since most of the area was covered in grass, some players would camp in the grass. Those of you who get snipers, scopes, and powerful AR weapons early will definitely dominate the battlefield.

Unfortunately, the lack of hiding places makes the battle even more intense. Trees in the forest and grass make it difficult for you to find enemies hiding.

This is the most hated reason by all players to play on the Sanhok PUBG map. If you are not careful and don't pay attention to your surroundings, usually the enemy will suddenly spray from a direction you don't know. Surely this is very annoying.

Premature Death Often Occurs

PUBG Mobile can't be as enjoyable if you get killed early, before you even land on the ground. This often happens in the Sanhok PUBG map.

Because players who land faster are more likely to grab their weapons earlier and shoot unarmed players around them.

Besides, the best weapons are usually found in boot camps and ruins only. But those two places had a lot of players. Only the player who manages to get the weapon earlier will win the match.

Don't be surprised, on the Sanhok map you can be killed faster than you think. Not suitable for those of you who are pushing rank.

Holding the Hideout Is Hard

Many players like to hide in shelters for a while. But there are only a few shelters in the Sanhok PUBG map. It is possible that Shelters have also been occupied by other players. Those of you who want to find a safe hiding place will find it difficult in the Sanhok PUBG map.

You can't stay in a dense forest forever as long as the enemy can easily sneak up on you and ambush you. The rocks in the hills also could not provide protection for long. To survive, you must keep moving. Because of this, passive players might not really like Sanhok.
